Obama Threatens the Supreme Court of the United States

On Thursday, Fox News’ Martha McCallum said that the Obama Administration has been messaging the Supreme Court to warn them that if their ruling is not in favor of ObamaCare, Medicare will face extraordinary disruption and “chaos.”

CNBC reports that “…in papers filed with the Supreme Court, administration lawyers have warned of “extraordinary disruption” if Medicare is forced to unwind countless transactions that are based on payment changes required by more than 20 separate sections of the Affordable Care Act…”

So why doesn’t the Obama administration prepare now for that eventuality? The Obama administration refuses to do so because they are certain the law will be upheld. RIGHT, that’s it.

The Obama administration wants the Medicare changes and expansion kept even if the individual mandate is ruled unconstitutional and they are using threats to get their way. They are repeating the claims of last year that a reversal of Medicare payment changes would impose “staggering administrative burdens”…and “could cause delays and errors.”

The Obama administration has rushed their Medicare and Obamacare changes through and the tentacles are everywhere because they want it to be irreversible.

Their plan is obviously to create mayhem if the SCOTUS does not abide by Obama’s will. They will then blame SCOTUS for every problem the government causes. They will disrupt Medicare payments to doctors and hospitals. They don’t care if Medicare is destroyed because they always planned to replace it with ObamaCare.

They will simply blame it on the “right wing” SCOTUS and the Republicans who want to kill seniors and handicapped people.

What is probably happening is that Obama knows the entire law is being shot down (via Kagan and Sotomayor) and he is trying to save the Medicare expansion with his usual bully tactics.

Quote of the Week

“Tornadoes form below a class of severe thunderstorms known as supercells. Supercells feature intense upward moving columns of air that rotate, as the wind near the surface is drawn into those columns it begins to rotate and forms the tornado vortex. The damage attributed to tornadoes is caused by the strong winds in the vortex and flying debris.

“Oklahoma sits within an area of the United States commonly referred to as ‘tornado alley’ – this area is amongst the most frequent locations of tornado occurrence in the world. At this time of year, the warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and cool and dry air from above the Rocky Mountains come together to make tornado alley the perfect environment to spawn supercells and tornadoes.

“Preliminary reports of damage from the Oklahoma tornado suggest it was of EF-4 intensity, which is the second highest intensity rating. EF-4 tornadoes have wind gusts between about 265 and 320 kilometres per hour.”
