Memorial Day was created to honor those heroes who have paid the ultimate price, who have put their lives on the line for us. Memorial Day is our chance to show our gratitude to those who have died protecting the great freedoms we enjoy.
Chris Hayes, host of his own show at MSNBC, a station which openly campaigns for Obama, used the show and his leftist panel to demean our soldiers.
The gratitude that they, the Progressive Democrats, give to the soldiers their President sent to Afghanistan is to say they are “uncomfortable” calling them heroes.
Chris Hayes said -
“I feel uncomfortable about the word hero because it seems to me that it is so rhetorically proximate to justifications for more war.”
“…there are individual circumstances in which there is genuine, tremendous heroism, you know, hail of gunfire, rescuing fellow soldiers,” but that “it seems to me that we marshal this word in a way that is problematic.”
This reprehensible pseudo-intellectual used Memorial Day to say he was uncomfortable calling our fallen soldiers heroes.
Who is their hero? Perhaps George Soros? Maybe Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, great anti-war activists. It can’t be Obama since he wanted the acceleration of “the right war.”
At one point, the snide comment was made that the higher classes are out of the military.
Ironically, our military men and women would give their lives for people like Chris Hayes and they would fight for his free speech rights.
The truth is that these pseudo-intellectuals have no understanding of the dangers we face from terrorists abroad or what we will eventually confront on our own soil.
One of his affected panel members (John McWhorter, Daily News) said “words [like heroes] take on resonance” and he would almost like to come up with a “more neutral term.” Words like “heroes” are manipulative though not necessarily deliberately so. Words like “sacrifice…valor…hero…instantly you get dah-da-dah“…are argumentational strategies in on themselves, often without wanting to be.
This is from one of the PC horde of people who routinely use words to deceive Americans as they have never been deceived before. They gave themselves away. They would love to warp the meaning of any word that supports an opposing agenda.
Michelle Goldberg added that death doesn’t make soldiers heroes. She is missing the point that if soldiers risk their lives in defense of freedom, that alone is heroic. She would never be able to understand heroism or the meaning of it because of who and what she is. None of them are capable of understanding the meaning of the word “heroic.”

Chris Hayes went on to Twitter and urged followers to watch the entire hour of the show before jumping to conclusions. He told them to also watch the other segments in which he discusses how the relationship most Americans have to wars in Iraq and Afghanistan is, for the most part, abstract.
Hayes, in his arrogance, implies that Americans are unaware of the toll on our enemies as if we are all ignorant fools. It can’t possibly be that we are aware and disagree, can it?
I listened to his endless videos and they were not only boring but there was nothing there to redeem him or his panel. In fact, it showed the elitist and artificial arguments that make up the Progressive agenda of Totalitarianism. They believe that only their opinions are intelligent.
Hayes seems to have forgotten that it is his President who is dropping drones on people.
