Harry Reid, Gossip Guru of the Senate

I heard that Harry Reid won’t release his tax returns because he engaged in questionable land deals. I have no proof but I feel it is accurate.

A friend of mine called me and said Reid grew up in a whore house. Another person I know, who is an investor, said Reid got rich off insider trading. I repeat all this gossip because I now see the light.

Senator Reid thinks anonymous gossip is worth broadcasting to the world so it must be the way to go.

Did I tell you I heard he believes in polygamy. His parents must be so embarrassed even the one that’s dead.

An anonymous person I trust, who I can’t name, but who knows a lot about pederasts said Reid is a pederast. Read more Reid gossip at Twitchy.

Another interesting fact was uncovered by McClatchy. The congressmen and women demanding that Romney release more than two years of tax returns won’t release theirs!

Out of 535 members of Congress, only 17 released their most recent tax forms or provided some similar documentation of their tax liabilities in response to requests from McClatchy over the last three months. Another 19 replied that they wouldn’t release the information, and the remainder never responded to the query.

…The widespread secrecy in one branch of the government suggests a self-imposed double standard. Yet while American politics has come to expect candidates for the presidency to release their tax returns, the president isn’t alone in having a say over the nation’s tax laws. Congress also stands to gain or lose by the very tax policies it enacts, and tax records – more than any broad financial disclosure rules now in place – offer the chance to see whether the leaders of the government stand to benefit from their own actions..

McClatchy asked the biggest complainers, Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and Harry Reid to release their tax returns. Pelosi aides refused saying she released what was necessary under the law. Wasserman-Schultz said she wouldn’t because she wasn’t running for President. Reid also refused of course.

Quote of the Week

"It's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few and for the few, time to reject the idea of an "on your own" society and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity. I prefer a "we're all in it together" society.

Now, there is no greater force for economic growth than free markets, but markets work best with rules that promote our values, protect our workers and give all people a chance to succeed. (We) ....can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people."
