According to MSNBC, this election has moved from a referendum to a choice. It that’s true, we’re in a sorry state of affairs.
There needs to be a referendum on the socialist Obama.
MSNBC made this claim based on an NBC/WSJ poll:
A Democratic ticket featuring Obama and Vice President Joe Biden gets support from 48 percent of registered voters, and a Republican ticket of Romney and new running mate Paul Ryan gets 44 percent.
These numbers are only slightly changed from July, when Obama led Romney by six points in the survey, 49 percent to 43 percent, suggesting a minimal bounce for Romney (if at all) after this month’s Ryan pick.
The poll is skewed. They polled 52% females and 48% males, knowing that females lean towards Obama. Only registered voters, not likely voters, were polled. 40% were unemployed which could mean a whole lot more than they indicated in this poll.

61% say we are on the wrong track and 32% feel we are on the right track, so even though people know we are headed in the wrong direction they are going to vote for Obama???
Under age 49 were polled at 52% and over 50 were polled 48%. Older citizens tend towards Romney.
48% approve the job Obama is doing, 49% disapprove in general
54% disapprove of Obama’s handling of the economy
82% disapprove of the job the Congress is doing. Obama has helped diminish their role and their image
Their poll shows that Obama will beat Romney 49% to 43%
Obama’s likeability scores are much higher than Romney’s
Those polled like Romney’s ideas better (but they’re voting Obama, huh?)
42% say they are worse off under Obama and 27% say it’s the same (but they’re voting more for Obama, huh?)
36% have lowered their opinion of Romney based on his failure to release more tax returns, the faux distraction put out by the Obama campaign.
