Obama Refuses Meeting with Netanyahu – Stunning Update

Update: 18:00 EST: Reuters quoted Netanyahu today as saying,

“The world tells Israel ‘wait, there’s still time’. And I say, ‘Wait for what? Wait until when?’” said Netanyahu, speaking in English.

“Those in the international community who refuse to put red lines before Iran don’t have a moral right to place a red light before Israel,”

The United States has forfeited their moral right to stop Israel from taking action against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Great job Obama!

Original Story: President Obama’s schedule won’t allow time for him to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu when Bibi comes to speak before the United Nations later this month.

It’s a scheduling problem according to the White House. Is that something like a wardrobe malfunction?

The White House claims there is nothing to see here, move along. I can’t wait for Carney’s enlightening press conference.

President Obama used to just leave Netanyahu sitting alone in a chair while he went to have dinner. Now the President is snubbing him completely.

If Ahmadinejad would agree to a meeting with President Obama, he’d move heaven and earth to make it happen. It’s hard to forget Obama’s begging for meetings over the last few years.

Netanyahu will meet with Secretary of State Clinton and other high level officials but it’s not appropriate – Obama is his peer.

In addition to having conflicts over Iran, Obama has continually attempted to marginalize Netanyahu with his own people in the hope of swaying the Israeli election.

Quote of the Week

“Tornadoes form below a class of severe thunderstorms known as supercells. Supercells feature intense upward moving columns of air that rotate, as the wind near the surface is drawn into those columns it begins to rotate and forms the tornado vortex. The damage attributed to tornadoes is caused by the strong winds in the vortex and flying debris.

“Oklahoma sits within an area of the United States commonly referred to as ‘tornado alley’ – this area is amongst the most frequent locations of tornado occurrence in the world. At this time of year, the warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and cool and dry air from above the Rocky Mountains come together to make tornado alley the perfect environment to spawn supercells and tornadoes.

“Preliminary reports of damage from the Oklahoma tornado suggest it was of EF-4 intensity, which is the second highest intensity rating. EF-4 tornadoes have wind gusts between about 265 and 320 kilometres per hour.”
