Obama’s Ministry of Truth Has Its Prints All Over the Film of Osama bin Laden Raid

National Geographic’s film on the bin Laden raid, SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama bin Laden, is no longer the film shown in Cannes. It has been recut to meet the propaganda recommendations of Obama bundler Harvey Weinstein. The film now gives Obama a starring role. It will be aired two days before the election.

Meghan O’Hara, the producer who worked on the anti-Bush films “Sicko” and “Farenheit 9/11,” has gathered material for the changes to make the film more “realistic.”

If they really wanted to make it realistic, they would have Obama’s role filmed on the golf course. They would also show how water boarding contributed to finding bin Laden. They would also show the poor doctor who continues to be locked up in a Pakistani prison for helping us.

Edited scenes now include a lot of background noise in which people are heard to say things like, Obama is putting his entire presidency on the line. Obama is now one of the stars of the film though he appears in fewer scenes, as if that mattered.

There was a scene which included Romney. It made him appear to oppose the raid. National Geographic Channel’s CEO Howard T. Owens insisted that the completely falsified scene be cut. It was too obvious a re-writing of history, even for National Geographic.

Personally I am canceling my subscription to National Geographic immediately. They are nothing more than a propaganda arm of the Obama administration.

Excerpt from the NY Times article on the film:

…In a joint interview on Tuesday Mr. Weinstein; the film’s director, John Stockwell; and others said the changes to the film were not politically motivated but were meant to give the film a stronger sense of realism. Some of the Obama moments were added at the suggestion of Mr. Weinstein, they said, using material gathered by Meghan O’Hara, a producer who worked closely with the documentarian Michael Moore on politically charged projects like “Fahrenheit 9/11” and “Sicko.”

But Mr. Stockwell said he had included Mr. Obama as a character in his film from the beginning, and had actually shrunk his screen time somewhat. And Howard T. Owens, the president of the National Geographic Channel, who joined the call, said his company had insisted on removing a scene that showed Mitt Romney appearing to oppose the raid.

“We wouldn’t air this if it were propaganda,” he said…

Quote of the Week

“Tornadoes form below a class of severe thunderstorms known as supercells. Supercells feature intense upward moving columns of air that rotate, as the wind near the surface is drawn into those columns it begins to rotate and forms the tornado vortex. The damage attributed to tornadoes is caused by the strong winds in the vortex and flying debris.

“Oklahoma sits within an area of the United States commonly referred to as ‘tornado alley’ – this area is amongst the most frequent locations of tornado occurrence in the world. At this time of year, the warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and cool and dry air from above the Rocky Mountains come together to make tornado alley the perfect environment to spawn supercells and tornadoes.

“Preliminary reports of damage from the Oklahoma tornado suggest it was of EF-4 intensity, which is the second highest intensity rating. EF-4 tornadoes have wind gusts between about 265 and 320 kilometres per hour.”
