Empowering Terrorists Throughout the World

What has President Obama’s foreign policy of appeasement wrought upon the world?

Hamas leader, Khaled Meshaal, said on Wednesday that some of the weapons used to assault Israel for the last three years came from Iran:

“The weapons of Palestinian resistance were partially manufactured inside the Gaza Strip, and the rest was supplied by certain countries, including Iran,” Meshaal told journalists in Cairo after a ceasefire was agreed between Israel and Hamas.

The Hamas political leader said Tehran had supported Gaza militants with arms “even despite differences between Iran and Hamas on issues connected with the conflict in Syria.” [danaindia]

An Israeli official said that Israel would ease the blockade of Gaza’s border if Hamas would stop arming itself, but senior Hamas member, Abu Marzouk, said that would never happen:

“These weapons protected us and there is no way to stop obtaining and manufacturing them.”

Hamas officials have said that they have a local arms industry. The weapons or the materials to make the weapons are smuggled through tunnels under the border with Egypt. [National Post]

On Saturday, Ahamadinejad, President of Iran, hailed the Palestinian resistance as a great success. He said it is the end of the line for Zionists:

“Zionists have reached the end of the road and have no choice but to recognize and yield to the absolute right of the Palestinian nation.

He added that he hopes for the liberation of the holy al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the establishment of justice across the globe [press tv]

Around the world, protests continue against israel. Our administration’s failed foreign policy has empowered the anti-semitism I thought I would never see in my lifetime. President Obama forced the end to Israel’s ground war and gave credit to Morsi for the fragile truce. This is the result.

Quote of the Week

"It's time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few and for the few, time to reject the idea of an "on your own" society and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity. I prefer a "we're all in it together" society.

Now, there is no greater force for economic growth than free markets, but markets work best with rules that promote our values, protect our workers and give all people a chance to succeed. (We) ....can't just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people."
