Army-Navy Game December 8th

#1: Joe Biden was booed at the Army-Navy game. It is said that he was booed from both sides during the entire game. He walked off waving at the end of the game to the sounds of jeers and boos. I love these Army-Navy guys!!!

#2: California’s tax insanity:
A massive revenue loss followed the California tax hikes. Californians were sure that raising taxes would not drive away businesses or the rich. First indications are that they were wrong.

“State Controller John Chiang announced Friday afternoon (the traditional time for not getting stories covered) that the state’s revenue for November came in $806.8 million under projections. That’s more than 10% under budget for the month.[Forbes]

#3: Disgusting, revolting, repulsive, terrifying cartoon video by the California teachers’ union narrated by commie actor Ed Asner:

So when will they bring out the guillotine?

#4: Un-American Socialist, Bernie Sanders, calls Republicans un-American and undemocratic. He specifically said, “The American people want action and it is undemocratic, it is unAmerican when a small minority can deny the majority from going forward.” [The Hill]

Bernie “I want all your money” Sanders

#5: Food stamps are up by 600,000 for September.  Yea, we’re such generous, good people for giving people handouts instead of a handup. [Weasel Zippers]

#6: In another nasty driveby tweet, Bill Maher insulted deceased singer Andy Williams [the blaze]:

#8: Nancy Pelosi  filed a Discharge Petition http://clerk.house.gov/…. If she gets 218 signatures, the House dems can bypass John Boehner to bring the President’s middle class tax cut bill to the floor for a vote according to the vile Daily Kos, which I refuse to link to. There are two obvious lies in the last line. There are no middle-class tax cuts, there are no cuts, there is only the possibility of not raising their taxes. This bill should be called the tax-the-wealthy bill if they really wanted to be accurate.

#9: It’s good you can’t be bigoted against white people or Jamie Foxx might be called a racist. During his skit on SNL, he went on about his new movie Django (which looks incredibly bad from the trailer):

“I got a new movie coming out, Django, check it out…Django Unchained, I play a slave.  How black is that?  In the movie, I have to wear chains.  How whack is that?  But don’t be worried about it, because I get out [of] the chains, I save my wife, and I kill all the white people in the movie.  How great is that?  And how black is that?”

Then he went on about Obama:

“He’s [going] to be extra black these next four years; he’s [going] to get everything black…white people don’t get nervous about that because he is mixed.  Now the first four years was the white side of him…but the next four years he’s even changing his name to President Barack Dikembe Mutombo Tupac Mandela Hussein Obama X.  How black is that?” [the blaze]

Quote of the Week

“Tornadoes form below a class of severe thunderstorms known as supercells. Supercells feature intense upward moving columns of air that rotate, as the wind near the surface is drawn into those columns it begins to rotate and forms the tornado vortex. The damage attributed to tornadoes is caused by the strong winds in the vortex and flying debris.

“Oklahoma sits within an area of the United States commonly referred to as ‘tornado alley’ – this area is amongst the most frequent locations of tornado occurrence in the world. At this time of year, the warm and moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and cool and dry air from above the Rocky Mountains come together to make tornado alley the perfect environment to spawn supercells and tornadoes.

“Preliminary reports of damage from the Oklahoma tornado suggest it was of EF-4 intensity, which is the second highest intensity rating. EF-4 tornadoes have wind gusts between about 265 and 320 kilometres per hour.”
