Timothy Geithner and John Boehner Discuss the Fiscal Cliff – Videos

Rep. John Boehner and Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner took turns talking about the fiscal cliff on Fox News Sunday.

Barack Obama offered a plan that gives him carte blanche with the American taxpayer’s checkbook by eliminating the debt ceiling for eternity. Among other things, the plan doubles the taxes he originally requested, adds a stimulus, and offers no spending cuts – just the possibility of some vague cuts next year. After Obama sent this plan to the Republicans, he went off to campaign and will be vacationing as we go off the cliff.

Timothy Geithner talks about “clean levels” as a way of describing high tax rates for the rich. He talks about winding down two wars but ignores the fact that Afghanistan, Libya and the covert war in Syria belong to the Democrats:
