4 Submit Sworn Statements Saying Mrs. Ford Told Them About Assault

The attorneys for Christine Blasey Ford have sworn and signed declarations from four people who say she told them about the alleged sexual assault by Judge Kavanaugh. They include her husband and three close friends.

She said Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed, groped her and attempted to pull off her clothes while both were high school students in 1982. [She has said she wasn’t certain of the year]. Kavanaugh has flatly denied the accusations.

The documents were sent to the Senate Judiciary on Wednesday and obtained by USA Today. They will be used by Ford’s attorneys during a committee hearing on Thursday.

THE DECLARATIONS
The first document

Adela Gildo-Mazzon said Ford told her about the alleged assault during a June 2013 meal at a restaurant in Mountain View, California, and contacted Ford’s attorneys on Sept. 16 to tell them Ford had confided in her five years ago.

“During our meal, Christine was visibly upset, so I asked her what was going on,” Gildo-Mazzon said in her declaration. “Christine told me she had been having a hard day because she was thinking about an assault she experienced when she was much younger. She said she had been almost raped by someone who was now a federal judge. She told me she had been trapped in a room with two drunken guys, and that she had escaped, ran away and hid.”

According to her declaration, Gildo-Mazzon has known Ford for more than 10 years and considers her “a good friend.”

It’s not clear that Kavanaugh’s name was mentioned.

Second declaration

Keith Koegler said Ford revealed the alleged assault to him in 2016, when the two parents were watching their children play in a public place and discussing the “light” sentencing of Stanford University student Brock Turner.

“Christine expressed anger at Mr. Turner’s lenient sentence, stating that she was particularly bothered by it because she was assaulted in high school by a man who was now a federal judge in Washington, D.C.,” Koegler said.

“Christine did not mention the assault to me again until June 29, 2018, two days after Justice Anthony Kennedy announced his resignation from the Supreme Court of the United States,” he said.

On that day, Koegler said Ford revealed to him in an email that the person who had assaulted her in high school was President Donald Trump’s “favorite for SCOTUS.”

In his response email, Koegler wrote, “I remember you telling me about him, but I don’t remember his name. Do you mind telling me so I can read about him?”

Ford’s emailed response: “Brett Kavanaugh.”

In his declaration, Koegler said he met the Fords while coaching their son’s baseball team more than five years ago.

He only learned the name recently.
Third declaration
Rebecca White, a neighbor and friend of more than six years, said Ford revealed the alleged assault against her in 2017.

“I was walking my dog and Christine was outside of her house,” White said. “I stopped to speak with her, and she told me she had read a recent social media post I had written about my own experience with sexual assault.

“She then told me that when she was a young teen, she had been sexually assaulted by an older teen,” White continued. “I remember her saying that her assailant was now a federal judge.”

It appears Kavanaugh’s name was not mentioned.

Fourth declaration

In his declaration, Ford’s husband said he learned of his wife’s experience with sexual assault “around the time we got married” but that she didn’t share details until a couple’s therapy session in 2012.

“I remember her saying that her attacker’s name was Brett Kavanaugh, that he was a successful lawyer who had grown up in Christine’s home town, and that he was well-known in the Washington D.C. community,” Russell Ford said.

He said his wife was “afraid” Trump would nominate Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court and was “very conflicted” about whether she should come forward with her story.

The people at the party denied the allegations

The people Ms. Blasey said were at the party all denied knowing of any such party. Mark Judge and Patrick Smythe denied being at the party in sworn statements. Ms. Blasey’s friend Leland Keyser was identified as being at the party but she also denied ever being at a party with Brett Kavanaugh.

It also must be noted here that repressed memories are notoriously inaccurate. People have gone to jail over them.

It looks like we have a conundrum.

NO EVIDENCE SO THEY CITE A POLYGRAPH the polygraph had no questions on Kavanaugh just two very simple questions is your statement true, did you write it yourself, these questions won’t catch a liar, they say can’t ask questions that night raise emotions, give me a BREAK thats what the y do in criminal death cases and other cases ask pointed questions to see if deception occurs but is your name, do you live at xxx, are you xx old, etc. all basic to build the baseline, are you lying, do you have a grudge, are you mistaken? and so on but never asked, Why Dem’s did not want the truth only a tool to use in stopping Kavanaugh, and delay, delay. She brought no support to back up her story, buy Brett did they would not accept it. and still don’t. they have seared minds with evil intent if he is confirmed.

What kind of relationship do these people have. My husband would have been curious as to why I kept it a secret so long. What kind of friends did she have back then that did not get her help at that time.

That day stands out clearly in my mind. There were, Christine and I, sitting in a MacDonald’s eating Big Macs when Christine leans over and tells me that 31 years ago she a big wig, future Federal Judge sexually attacked her. Right out of the blue, she told me that. I swear.

Sounds illogical and not based on facts, her accusations are still based on her word only, point being if she is lying and told that same lie to 4 people, it is still a lie just spread to others.

All of a sudden after how many hearing delay’s 3 other people say Ford told them about the attack years ago. her husband we already knew about through the therapy stuff, the problem Ford has is the 4 other people she said were at the party who have said it didn’t happen, is her defense going to be their memories are shot? her long time friend Leland Keyser is a real problem for her, we are to beleive Ford darted out of the party and Leland Keyser never ever asked why she left the way she did???? the letter from her attorney in part says ” Ms. Keyser does not know Mr. Kavanaugh and she has no recollection of ever being at a party or gathering where he was present, with, or without, Dr. Ford”
