CAIR is a front group for the terrorist group Hamas. Despite this, ABC Chicago, Morgan Stanley, and New York Life sponsored Chicago CAIR’s banquet on March 15.

CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in The Holy Land Foundation terrorist trial.

CAIR claims to be a “civil liberties” group for moderate Muslims but it does not represent moderate Muslims in the U.S. It was established by Islamists tied to the radical Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas is an offshoot of the Brotherhood as is Al Qaeda and most terrorist groups in the Middle East. It is a peaceful propaganda network for Hamas.

ABC sponsored CAIR’s banquet last year as well. The media goes to CAIR whenever they need comments, giving them tremendous power and recognition.  Moderate Muslims have said CAIR doesn’t represent them but no one’s listening.

CAIR’s aim is to shut down our free speech by equating everything they don’t like with Islamaphobia. Recently , they successfully shut down a screening of the documentary Honor Diaries at the University of Michigan. The movie tells the true story of nine Muslim women who suffered through honor violence and killings, mutilation, and other practices by extremist cults of Islam.

One of the women who tells her story in the film is Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a former Muslim woman who has lived under constant death threats since writing a script for a film by Theo Van Gogh about the mistreatment of Muslim women. Van Gogh was murdered.

Recently, Brandeis withdrew their offer to honor her at their commencement ceremony because CAIR, the Muslim Students Association and a Muslim-convert professor said telling the truth about Islamist practices against women is Islamaphobia.

She wrote an incredible autobiography -Infidel – which people will find eye-opening and tragic.

Caring about people’s feelings is fine but never at the expense of truth and free speech. That hits at the very foundation of our nation’s principles and CAIR knows it. The naive tools at certain media outlets and companies have somehow lost their way.
