The Poynter Institute for Media Studies is an elite school for journalism located in St. Petersburg, Florida. It’s writers are considered the cream of journalistic society and the ones people look up to for training and news stories. The Institute almost exclusively publishes negative stories about President Trump and continually paints Fox News as the buffoon of journalism.
They had a piece Thursday regaling the loss of the free press in numerous countries that do not have a Shield Act, even Canada where they are demanding sources from one journalist who did a piece on an alleged ISIS fighter from Calgary.

It’s ironic that the people who are only left-wing in their reporting would complain about the loss of free press in the world. You’d be hard-pressed to find a negative story about a Democrat at Poynter.
The problem exists throughout the media and in journalism.
A total of 96% of the donations by journalists went to Hillary Clinton in the last election. Only 7 percent of journalists are Republican. Schools of journalism are filled with left-wing professors and students.
It’s impossible to get fair coverage with those odds.
A poll out this morning from the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics surveyed 1,000 Trump voters online and it concludes in part, “Respondents were deeply suspicious and distrusting of media. Nearly nine of ten respondents (88%) said the media criticism of Trump reinforces that the President is on the right track, and the same percentage agreed with Trump’s assertion that the press is “the enemy of the people”.
Poynter pointed out the poll to suggest that Trump supporters are basically ignorant. They then went on to blast Breitbart, Fox News, Donald Trump, and, most importantly, they mentioned the following fascinating tidbit.
Comedy Central [a decidedly leftist, anti-right comedy station] is “taking over The New York Times, Washington Post and other sites with ads that blare slogans like ‘failing’ and ‘fake news’ in the media of articles. The spokesperson in the digital ads is an uncanny Donald Trump impersonator, Anthony Atamanuik, who is getting his own parody show on the network.”
Anthony Atamanuik is a Minnesota Muslim who hates Donald Trump.
The President Show premieres on the network Thursday. “To herald the debut, The New York Times homepage will feature a takeover ad with the presidential doppelgänger dropping down in a banner ad and pointing at the website while mocking it with one of President Trump’s signature insults: ‘Failing,'” Poynter’s James Warren wrote.
No bias there, right NY Times?
Actually, Trump said “fake news” is the “enemy of the people”. Tight here you have proof of their unending bias. The media only reports that Donald Trump called the entire press the “enemy”. They compare him to Chairman Mao, Hitler, Joe Stalin and so on.
This is what Trump actually said:
“I’m not against the media, I’m not against the press, I don’t mind bad stories if I deserve them. I am only against the fake news, media, and press. I’m against the people that make up stores and sources. They shouldn’t be allowed to use sources that they don’t name. ‘A source said Donald Trump is a horrible human being’. Let him say that to my face. They should put the name of the person and then you’ll see stories dry up  so fast.”
Time and again, The Washington Post, NY Times, even the AP, have put out false stories. CNN is notorious for it, while ignoring the perfidy of the Democrats.
Let’s end on this note. The White House Correspondent’s Association Dinner this year will likely be attended only by leftists/liberals and the host is rabidly anti-Trump Muslim Hasan Minhaj of The Daily Show.
The White House is sending no one and the President will not go because the beating will be brutal and probably not a bit funny.
