The American Beheader, Alton Nolen,is linked to a mosque with ties to imam, Suhaib Webb, who has praised terrorists and who apologized to ISIS the day after Colleen Hufford was beheaded. Webb is linked to American terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki.
Nolen was not fired for trying to convert his colleagues according to the latest reports (Shepherd Smith, Fox News and News Au), but rather because he had an altercation with an employee in which he said he hates all white people. [Correction: The company said he was only suspended.]
Colleen Hufford was a grandmother.
Recent reports also indicate that he was shouting Islamic phrases and screaming Allah Akbar as he beheaded Colleen Hufford. Several people tried to stop him but he threatened them with a large kitchen knife he brought from home.
What stopped him in the end was a gun. The Vaughn Foods Chief Operating Officer pulled out a rifle and shot him.
Alton Nolen attended the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City formerly run by an imam who apologized to ISIS a day after Nolen beheaded Colleen Hufford. Webb is now imam of the mosque’s sister mosque which happens to be the same mosque that the Boston Bombers attended.
FBI surveillance documents found that he was a known confidant of Al Qaeda mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki.
It is not known if Nolen knew imam Webb though Webb continues to gives sermons at his mosque.
The Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City stressed that “this unwarranted act does not represent Islam in any shape or form.” However, their former imam raises questions, especially given his apology to ISIS.
The Daily Caller reported that Suhaib Webb apologized to ISIS online.
Webb wrote a column posted online titled, ““Shame on Me: A Commitment to Discourse Instead of Demonization”, which began:
These days are hard. From Gaza, Ferguson and ISIS, it is difficult to have insight into where the world is today. That question is important. But of more importance is asking where it is now. After all, the answer to that question, is the answer to the first one. However, there are times when the fog of the future blinds us from seeing the demands of today. I woke up the other day and decided to skim through my body of work over the last few years. Boy was I surprised at some of my posts and talks – the tone and the demonization of others – I compared ISIS to Ebola.
While I don’t agree with ISIS, al-Qāida, certain progressives and others, I ‘ve decided to apologize to anyone that I have spoken ill towards or demonized. I ask Allah to forgive me and to guide me to observe better character in the future. I asked myself, “Suhaib did you forget the 49th chapter of the Qur’an, Surah al-Hujurāt?”
He ended by apologizing to Allah – “Please, Allah, forgive me and raise me by making me humble!”
“From Gaza, to Ferguson to ISIS”??? He drew moral equivalence between the three as if they could possibly be equal though it appears our president might agree with him.
Daily Caller reports that the imam has given at least one sermon in support of a terrorist alongside American terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki.
Robert Spencer reported that an ex-Muslim who attended the mosque told him:
The Imam was Imad Enchassi the last I heard. He was a friend of mine. He is a Lebanese-born Sunni who hates Israel. He once gave a sermon that the Israelis were trying to collapse al-Aqsa mosque by digging tunnels underneath it. They have no issue with Palestinian suicide bombings because, as it was explained to me, that is the only weapon the Palestinians have.
They sold Milestones in the book shop while I was there, which as you know calls for replacing all non-Islamic governments with Islamic ones. I remember listening to a tape a friend of mine, Yahya Graff, another white convert to Islam, had that prayed for the destruction of Israel and America.
The imam when I first converted, Suhaib Webb, is hailed as a moderate by liberals in the United States but he was the one that explicitly told me that according to Islam, three choices are to be given to non-Muslims: convert, pay the jizyah tax and live under Islamic rule, or jihad. They try very hard to whitewash Islam when the media is around, but they believe in their religion and the ultimate goal of an Islamic caliphate.
Imad Enchassi was Nolen’s imam.
On behalf of CAIR Oklahoma, Enchassi said that they condemn any violence or attacks on innocents.
He recently described the war between Israel and Gaza as a case of ethnic cleansing by Israel.
According to Breitbart, days before the beheading, Imad Enchassi, claimed that Muslims–even Muslim children–who resided in Oklahoma were under constant threat of literally having their heads chopped off.
Enchassi said that he received threats after Oklahoma State Representative John Bennet described Islam as a “social political system that uses a deity to advance its agenda of global conquest.”
That entire story by Enchassi is extremely fishy. Crimes against Muslims, including those in Oklahoma, are extremely rare.
The FBI has not classified this as a crime of terror as of yet, but isn’t it terror when someone cuts off a person’s head shouting Islamic phrases? Isn’t this the definition of a lone wolf? We also find out that he appeared to hate white people and the question of a bias crime comes up.
It is being called “workplace violence.”
With the question of mosques playing a role in radicalizing our youth, Attorney General Eric Holder is on the brink of announcing a new policy which would ban any profiling by the FBI that would look at sexual orientation, religion or race according to the LA Times.
The new policy, though still being finalized, is expected to prohibit federal agents from conducting undercover surveillance of a mosque, for example, without some information that criminal activity is underway.
Remarkably, there will be NO exceptions for national security.
Even though radical Islam is the problem and even though we know at least some mosques play a role in radicalizing youth, our agents will have to pretend radical Islam doesn’t exist and mosques play no part.
