Daily Caller asked Maxine Waters if she will run for president in 2020. They asked because her upcoming trip to New Hampshire seems to suggest she will.
The California “rock star”, “Auntie Maxine” said this weekend’s scheduled appearance in New Hampshire has nothing to do with potentially running for president in 2020. But she said that she would run for president if millenials want her to.
“I’m just going up to do a county Democratic thing. That’s all,” she said.
As she laughed, she told the Daily Caller, “I’m not running for anything but my own seat. I don’t have any presidential aspirations. If the millennials want me to do it, I’d do it, though.”

As the leader of the “Resistance”, she is headlining a Stafford County picnic. The invitation calls Auntie “one of the most powerful women in American politics today.”
In a recent New York Times Magazine interview, she said, “I have been adopted by the millennials, and I’m enjoying every minute of it.”
Her claim to fame centers on her hatred of President Trump.
She said during the Times interview that Trump should have been “convicted” of a crime “numerous” times and again called for impeachment. She says that almost daily.
