Are you a union member? Are you going? Will you rally with the communists?

The communist party had been involved with the labor movement at the beginning and dissolved over time. Now with the economy slumping and unemployment rising, they are back in full force. What price are union members willing to pay to protect their pay and benefits? Are they willing to cede their freedom to the communists? The reality is that if pay and benefits are unsustainable, unions have to give back same as all of us or there will be no one to pay them. There was a time when unions were needed, but are we sure we so desperately need this type of union activity at this time? How can I sympathize with union members who rally with the Communist Party USA? The Communist Party USA has been uniting with Big Labor for far longer than the Wisconsin situation, but they are gaining strength.

“In the wake of changes to government employee unions’ power in Wisconsin and elsewhere, The Communist Party USA is working in conjunction with national labor unions and other left wing political groups to organize protests in Madison, Wisconsin and across the nation on April 4th.” Read more here: Communists march for labor
