Big Sis Napolitano Alters the Recorded History of Immigration Enforcement Successes

“And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed-if all records told the same tale-then the lie passed into history and became truth. ‘Who controls the past’ ran the Party slogan, ‘controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.'”
– George Orwell, 1984, Book 1, Chapter 3

Janet Napolitano does not like it when federal immigration enforcement, working with state and local immigration police under 287 agreements, reports on the program’s success.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, under DHS and Janet Napolitano, handles these cooperative agreements. U.S. Immigration had a web page dedicated to success stories from the program, “pointing to the many dangerous criminal aliens who had been taken off the streets after local authorities nabbed them for another offense.” [Uh oh, sounds like the law Az got sued over]

Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va) pointed out the contradiction between her views on 287 programs and the government web page extolling them.  Napolitano had the page expunged before the hearing ended.

Napolitano said the program costs more than it’s worth. Personally, I think it’s worth whatever it costs – spend the money.

Napolitano will only agree to enforce our immigration law against those who are here illegally if they have criminal records or have committed multiple immigration violations.

The Obama administration continues to ignore “sanctuary cities” like New York City, San Francisco, and Chicago who flout immigration law by ignoring criminal illegals if their crimes are misdemeanors.

The truth is that Napolitano, on behalf of the Obama administration, is making it clear that only the federal government will enforce immigration law and the federal government has already made it clear they will not enforce immigration law as written.

Napolitano is implementing the Obama administration’s policy of dismantling our immigration law without going through the legislative process.

Expect drug dealers, drug pins and open borders proponents to vote Democratic. Will we look like Mexico one day in the not-too-distant future with drug gangs running our states? Would you want to woo these votes? Doesn’t that say something about the Democratic party?
