Bill Nye has reduced science to a whole new level – politics! Just what we need! Politics permeating science. Nye says it’s so.
Bill Nye, the mechanical engineering guy (he only has a B.S.), recently produced a song and dance number to prove transgenderism is scientifically sound but, he’s wrong, it’s only sound in the world of politics.
It’s also what is said by Arizona State University professor of statistics and biostatistics Lawrence S. Mayer and John Hopkins University Medical School professor of psychiatrics Paul McHugh who co-authored a report for The New Atlantis, which examined top peer-reviewed studies in the biological, psychological, and social sciences.
Nye’s puff piece proof appears in a Netflix number, “My Sex Junk”, featuring Rachel Bloom dancing and singing about transgenderism as science. If you want to get your transgender science from a mechanical engineer and Rachel Bloom, here it is (warning questionable language). This isn’t science, it’s theater.
Bill Nye (B.S., heavy on the BS) recently got into an an argument with a scientist, William Happer, a physicist at Princeton University (he has a PhD.), and treated him with his usual disdain and contempt as he blabbered about the disproven claims of warming oceans. Most superciliously, he stated emphatically “science is political.”
The one thing science isn’t, is political. It’s no longer science if it becomes political, it’s politics.
During his debate with the real scientist, he was somewhat unhinged though his loyal cultists said he beat the physicist into the ground.
CNN’s “New Day Saturday” panel included Nye and William Happer and it became heated after Happer said the climate change that Nye talks about is a “myth.”
“There’s this myth that’s developed around carbon dioxide that it’s a pollutant, but you and I both exhale carbon dioxide with every breath. Each of us emits about two pounds of carbon dioxide a day, so are we polluting the planet?” Happer, who has advised President Donald Trump on climate issues, said.
“Carbon dioxide is a perfectly natural gas, it’s just like water vapor, it’s something that plants love. They grow better with more carbon dioxide, and you can see the greening of the earth already from the additional carbon dioxide in the atmosphere,” he explained.
Nye blasted Happer, saying he didn’t understand the “rate,” or speed at which carbon dioxide is entering the atmosphere. Then he ripped CNN for not having only climate change alarmists on their network.
Nye is the mental case fascist who wants climate deniers jailed.
So who is Bill Nye really? Outside of being the Jim Jones of fake science.
Nye graduated from Cornell with a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and was hired at Boeing. In 1999, he told the St. Petersburg Times that he applied to be a NASA astronaut every few years, but was always rejected.
So like any fake science guy, he went into stand up comic routines in his off-hours, becoming known for his Steve Martin impersonations.
He was a writer-actor for sketch comedy. The host of the show Ross Shafer suggested he do science skits for children and take the name “The Science Guy”. Thus, his fake science career was born.
Nye is talented, but not as a climate scientist. He holds several United States patents, including one for ballet pointe shoes and another for an educational magnifying glass created by filling a clear plastic bag with water. He also appeared on Dancing with the Stars.
He found his niche as a leftist icon, one of their many crazy role models.
So how well does Bill Nye’s theory of science as politics hold up?
Science is fact, hypothesis, law and theory. Theory comes about as a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that can incorporate facts, laws, inferences, and tested hypotheses.
Politics on the other hand is all about government.
The only relationship they have is funding and, unfortunately, the money is dealt out by partisans who think a mechanical engineer in a lab coat who does Steve Martin impersonations is a science guru.
As a climatologist, Nye’s a world renowned fake like Al Gore the government major and poor student who earned a “D” in natural sciences while in college and screwed up in high school science royally.
