During a Wednesday interview, TV host Bill Nye told the LA Times that older people need to “age out,” or “die,” for his views about climate change to advance.
Nye himself is 61 and just might not live to see his dream flesh out. He pointed out that climate deniers tend to be older. [The younger have been brainwashed in schools.] He said:
It just sounds like people are scared. It just sounds like people are afraid. And the people who are afraid in general — with due respect, and I am now one of them — are older. Climate change deniers, by way of example, are older. It’s generational. So we’re just going to have to wait for those people to “age out,” as they say. “Age out” is a euphemism for “die.” But it’ll happen, I guarantee you — that’ll happen.
With his usual arrogance, the man who became famous for doing Steve Martin impersonations, said that climate deniers are “clowns”. The fake science guy who is a bit of a clown himself said he never made climate science political, his opponents did – that would be the “clowns”.
Most thinking people know Nye is extreme. He’s not even a scientist, he’s an engineer and TV host.
On his Netflix program, “Bill Nye Saves the World,” released in April, Nye hosted a panel that discussed ways to combat climate change. A notable moment occurred when Nye and his guest, Dr. Travis Rieder, a philosopher at Johns Hopkins University, suggested that we penalize Americans who have more than one child.
Among his solutions for those who disagree with him on climate change is imprisoning dissenters. In 2016, Nye suggested to YouTube channel “cfact,” that throwing climate skeptics in prison wasn’t too extreme.
“We’ll see what happens. Was it appropriate to jail the guys at Enron?” Nye asked. “Was it appropriate to jail people from the cigarette industry who insisted that this addictive product was not addictive?”
He’s also famous for a horror show video with sexually perverted ice cream cones. It’s meant for children.
Bill Nye just picked up an Emmy Award nomination for one of his demented segments from his Netflix “Saves the World”.
One of the memorable lines from the weird, twisted routine is “my vagina has its own voice.” Another line is, “Drag king, drag queen. Just do what feels right.”
Rachel Bloom dances to my “sex junk”.
That’s not science, sorry.
