Blatant Lies And a Plot to Steal the Nomination

Rubio

There is little doubt that the establishment is preparing for a brokered convention during which they hope to crown a candidate that is acceptable to them.

Hugh Hewitt reported that John Kasich said no matter what happens, he plans to stay in the race all the way to the convention. The only reason to do that of course is to deprive Trump of the nomination and to deprive Cruz as well. Kasich has said in interviews yesterday and today that if he wins Ohio, there will definitely be a brokered convention.

On the 26th of February, CNN reported that Rubio was preparing for a contested convention and there is now an audio to prove it.

Breitbart has obtained an exclusive audio of Rubio’s campaign manager Terry Sullivan meeting secretly with donors Wednesday, February 24th, telling them about Rubio’s path to the nomination via a brokered convention.

The establishment and their two chosen candidates are plotting a brokered convention to defeat Trump and they are lying about it. It’s no coincidence that Kasich, Romney and Rubio are all saying the exact same things.

A brokered convention will “fracture” the party as Cruz has said. Cruz is very opposed to it.

A brokered convention is handing the election to Hillary and the socialists. We will also lose the Supreme Court and our Bill of Rights but the power brokers care more about their power and their cushy little jobs. They also think Trump is dangerous and a threat. Perhaps they feel it will be brokered no matter what because half the people are not voting for Trump and a significant number are not voting for Trump or Cruz combined, but it’s not their decision. This is the peoples’ decision.

Sean Hannity has been angry in recent days about Rubio’s behavior towards Trump and the possibility that he was plotting a brokered convention. Hannity said Rubio called him personally and denied there was any such plot.

This morning on Fox & Friends, Rubio not only denied it, he denied it while feigning complete innocence, laughing at the notion of a House of Cards style conspiracy since “those things don’t happen.” He claims each campaign is doing their own thing and not communicating.

Really?

It’s not just the brokered convention, it’s the lying and plotting that is offensive and arrogant.

Rubio is the one who called out Cruz as a liar.

We have the clip of Rubio’s comments here.

The establishment wants to protect their power more than our freedoms. They won’t back Trump or even Cruz. They’ve been pushing Rubio and Kasich but the people don’t seem to want them. Both have failed miserably in the polls and at the caucuses and primaries.

The audio of the meeting is of a PowerPoint presentation in which Terry Sullivan outlines two scenarios by which Rubio could win. The first shows the number of states and delegates Rubio needs to win outright. The second is the one in which none of the candidates gain the simple majority needed and that would lead to what will likely be a devastating, messy and possibly unpredictable battle with several candidates competing for the nomination.

In the past, Sullivan acknowledged that a brokered convention was possible but suggested a much rosier scenario was preferable.

Now, Rubio and Kasich have the obvious support of the entire establishment behind them but they claim this brokered convention will be a natural event.

Generally I wouldn’t say there is any collusion but this, combined with Romney’s speech and actions over the last two days, it is hard to say there isn’t any. Both Rubio and Romney have used the phrase “con man” to describe Trump. They have both attacked him on the university and other specific issues.

This is the audio obtained by Breitbart.

  1. Rubio has a history of big lies. Fox is happy to give him airtime to claim innocence.
This is merely more preparation for the event.

On the 2nd ballot I wonder what coercion would be used. It’s possible that Trump
    could get more votes.

  2. Geesh Cruz is every bit as rotten as Rubio. His peers don’t like him just because he is a back stabbing creep but the power brokers fund him heavily.

    • Cruz is honorable, sticks to the Constitution, and did what his constituents wanted him to do. I don’t care if they don’t like him – he was pushing them to follow the Constitution.

Why do you think he’s a back stabber?

  3. “The establishment wants to protect their power more than our freedoms.”
    NO TRUER WORDS EVER SPOKEN.

I’ve written this very same sentiment over the past several years in this manner: They are solely consumed with maintaining their own little piece of the power pie. What is best for the nation, the people’s needs and desires, all completely irrelevant.

There have been some within the Republican party who have tried to fight against this disgraceful, lawless president. Each and every one of them have been subjected to violent, cruel, vicious attacks from the Establishment. That includes people like Cruz and Michelle Bachmann – remember when she tried to inform and warn about Hillary’s right hand woman, Uma Abedin and her intimate relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood? Bachmann was torn to shreds. WHERE has all this “scorched Earth” bravery been over the past 7 1/2 years vs this lawless administration?

Frankly, more than just conflicted, I have truly anguished deciding between Cruz and Trump – both bring imperative qualities to the table.

The only reason so many of his fellow senators hold him in great disdain, Cruz was among the mere handful of representatives willing to stand up to Democrats, Obama and his/their vile, destructive policies. In doing so, he was upsetting their very comfy apple cart. He honestly and openly embracing of the Constitution even when it evoked the ire of all around him, even when he had to stand alone to do so.
Yes, it made the Establishment VERY uncomfortable.

One of THE most important, URGENT jobs of the next president will be the appointment of at least one, more likely more than one, SCOTUS justice. Without doubt, Cruz will select a justice most like Scalia, not a “conservative” but a Constitutional Purist. BTW, isn’t that what EVERY SCOTUS justice is SUPPOSED to be? A Constitutional Purist?

Trump will bring a wrecking ball down upon the Washington Establishment…exactly what WE NEED, they deserve but why members of both parties are PETRIFIED of a Trump Presidency. Given our current state, there has been unbelievable treacherous, treasonous, outrageous lawlessness from this administration. It has been done with the overt blessings of Democrats and, shamelessly, with a wink and a nod from Republicans. The latter, who have been betraying us for YEARS, have done so now to such an extent, it is CLEAR they are more than willing to facilitate our nation’s demise in favor of their own, self interests.

It is my belief, every American who has been tortured to the core regarding the truth about Barack Hussein Obama, WILL get their answer from Trump. I also believe the time Trump spent attending Sheriff Joe Arpio’s Cold Case Pose boot camp, was his epiphany, his “conversion” to Conservatism. For sure, he KNOWS where the Obama bodies are buried and, if anybody is going to spill all those beans, it’s Trump. Before I meet my maker, I want to know, we ALL deserve to know.

Yes, it will put the country into a national state of shock but, more importantly, it is the ONLY way to guard against our country, ever again, being handed over to those hell bent on our destruction from within.

BTW, it’s another of the many things the GOP fears, they they also knew the truth and did NOTHING to stop it.

There are MANY attributes which can be listed on behalf of both of these men. I initially believed a Cruz/Trump ticket would be IDEAL and I still do however unlikely that may be.

As to Marco Rubio – he has evolved into an enormous disappointment. There can be NO question, he betrayed the very people most responsible for his senate seat. Before the Gang of 8 end product, I heard him give a speech in which he gave his solemn promise, there would not even BE DISCUSSIONS what to with the “12 million” (factually, 34 MILLION) illegals currently here BEFORE the border is secured, absolutely NO AMNESTY. Just one week later, he addressed a Latino group, in Spanish, promising the exact opposite, regardless of a secured border, they would STAY. At that very moment, I washed my hands of Rubio. Then came the Gang of 8 and it was all but over.

It was such a profound moment, I sat down, wrote and sent a”snail mail” letter to Rubio advising him, lest he find some way to square this with the people who put great trust in him, he just committed political suicide. That GOP establishment are putting all their eggs in Rubio’s basket tells me all I need to know: He will be putty in their hands, nothing BUT more betrayals ahead.

While this incredibly contentious presidential race has proven hard to watch, it has been a GIFT to We the People. It has exposed those most guilty of betrayal at it’s worst. I am taking note of those who seek to conspire against democracy, who will stop at nothing to deny the will of the people.

They made every candidate promise to support whom ever becomes the GOP candidate, including Trump. Now we are actually witnessing these traitors either say outright, or intimate, if Trump becomes the candidate, they will vote for Hillary Clinton! If this isn’t a lesson worth learning, I don’t know what is.

In 2000, I saw all of this coming and withdrew from the Republican Party, became Independent. In 2009, when it became apparent Conservatives were successfully uniting as NEVER before (in many ways, thanks to the Internet), I came back to the GOP. The ability to choose candidates was one factor but, more importantly, there became a clearer path for core Conservatives, long disenfranchised by the eGOP, to take the party back from the hands of the ship of fools who care only about their own power and self interests at the GREAT expense of our country.

    • Rubio lost me on a few things. After he was elected to the Senate with the help of the Tea Party, he went ahead and pushed amnesty. Then what he said was in the bill was not in the bill. His comments about police, catering to groups like Black Lives Matter also bothered me. He said things that weren’t true about Cruz and Trump. He sounded like an idiot when he did his stand up routine – looked desperate. I don’t want him. Kasich is really a Democrat.

The RINOs will fold Judyann – I think.
