Authorities who are investigating the Boston Marathon bombings suspect that al Qaeda terrorists might have been behind the Boston Marathon bombings.

Last July, a top US general in Afghanistan said we can expect IED’s to come here soon. (Daily Beast)

Security experts have been warning about soft targets becoming the next 9/11’s since 9/11. The 9/11 terrorists let behind plans to attack soft targets such as malls, naming specific Long Island malls.

The terrorist magazine “Inspire” published an article in 2010 “Making a Bomb in the Kitchen of Your Mom.” It directs their Muslim brothers to take advantage of their military training right in their own mother’s kitchen, “all that you have to do is enter your kitchen and make an explosive device that would damage the enemy.”

The article gives a list of ingredients which are easily-made available and will not raise suspicion. They are very disposable.

The process and ingredients include gunpowder, a pressure cooker, shrapnel glued inside with inflammable material. A light bulb can be used as a detonator.

The author advised the would-be bomber to “place the device in a crowded area and camouflage it with something that would “not hinder the shrapnel such as cardboard.”

Sniffing dogs are not trained to recognize them as bomb ingredients according to the article.

Abu Musab al-Suri, propagandist and suspect in the Madrid bombings, recently encouraged the ordinary Muslim to become renegades and seek Jihad using soft targets.

He was released from a Syrian prison last December and we do not know his whereabouts.

He wrote an article for Inspire last year, encouraging the targeting of civilians “when responding to a brutal practice carried out by America and her allied forces.”

He continued that “This is done by targeting human crowds in order to inflict maximum human losses. This is very easy since there are numerous such targets such as crowded sports arenas, annual social events, large international exhibitions, crowded market-places, skyscrapers, crowded buildings … etc.”

“It is possible for ordinary Resistance fighters among the Muslims residing in America and the allied Western countries to target them, in order to participate in the jihad and the Resistance, and to stretch out a helping hand to the mujahidun [Islamic warriors].”

There has been no claim of responsibility except for a Muslim Brotherhood Chairman’s statement that al Qaeda in Mali orchestrated it (alaraibya).

There is a spy who allegedly reports to World Net Daily who claims Iran is behind it.

There was no chatter before or after the attack indicating the terrorist might have been home grown or they have gotten a lot smarter.

Investigators are checking airline departures, cell phones and known suspects.

The bombs in Boston were made according to the cookbook though it is still too early to determine who. It could have been any extremist group with the information we have now. Hopefully the FBI, who leads in the case, has more information.

Recent Jihad postings say that they are coming to the US soon.

A key al Qaeda weapons specialist, Abdallah Dhu-al-Bajadin, wrote only last month in an online jihadist website:

“If your reports say the organization is a danger, we strike you on your own turf and show ourselves to be more dangerous than you expect, with operations that dazzle your security experts,” Dhu-al-Bajadin stated, according to a translation of the report.

He has also threatened the US with poison gas.

Ahmad Bin Laden wants the WH to withdraw troops from Saudi Arabia or face  “a thunderous war against all the vital sectors in America.”

“You are forcing us to escalate and destroy your country and its people,” he said in a video.

The Taliban in Pakistan, linked to the 2010 bombing plot in New York City, denied it was behind the Boston explosions.

“”We believe in attacking US and its allies but we are not involved in this attack,” (TTP) spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan told Agence France Presse.

One jihadist identified on Twitter “Nasir Qa’idat al-Jihad” said the attack was significant for breaching security at a major event in the United States and that whoever was behind the attack was not as important.

The attack was al Qaeda-inspired which doesn’t mean they were necessarily behind it. All possibilities must be examined, including a Timothy McVeigh emulator, drug cartels, extreme environmentalists, and other dangerous cult-like movements.

While fools like Chris Matthews, CNN analysts, and the writers at HuffPo and Young Turks try to play the same PR game of blaming Tea Party activists or any one on the right side of the political sphere, however, they are missing the very real possibility that al Qaeda might be here in America.

If we have an administration and a media that does not soon acknowledge that, we will continue to fall behind the terrorists. Many lives will be lost or ruined. Many more children will be maimed.

The following video provides information about the bombs, video of the active scene, and updates on the victims:

There are indications that there were spotters:
