Breaking: Hamas Ends Ceasefire, Israeli Soldier Likely Kidnapped

Update: Lt. Hadar Goldin is dead. It is believed that he was killed while in custody.

A forced unconditional ceasefire between Israel and Gaza that was supposed to last 72 hours was announced by John Kerry, U.S. Secretary of State, and UN Secretary General, Ban-Ki-moon. It was broken within three hours.

The ceasefires have been pushed on Netanyahu by Barack Obama.

The headlines in the West today make it appear as if Israel broke the ceasefire by killing 35 -40-50 Palestinians with mortars. The photos shown in their publications are of young Palestinians in agony. Long paragraphs attesting to their pain then flow into small, almost unnoticeable verbiage about Israel being attacked first.

The West fosters and promotes the propaganda of the terrorist group Hamas.

The Palestinians unilaterally and grossly violated the humanitarian ceasefire and attacked Israeli soldiers. About 90 minutes into the truce, Hamas is suspected of kidnapping an Israeli soldier, Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, 23, and dragging him into a tunnel. Two others were killed.

Gaza militants also fired eight rockets and mortars at Israel, one of which was intercepted.

The Israeli Government Press Office said in a statement:

“As a result of this attack, two IDF soldiers were killed and another soldier is suspected to have been abducted; this was after the ceasefire had taken effect,” the GPO said. “Prime Minister Netanyahu told US Secretary of State Kerry that Hamas and the other terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip will bear the consequences of their actions and that Israel would take all necessary steps against those who call for our destruction and perpetrate terrorism against our citizens.”

A senior Hamas member, Musa Abu Marzouk, said the soldier was an officer taken prisoner near Rafah before the ceasefire came into effect. They also tried to blame Israel for breaking the ceasefire.

Israel National News wrote the following:

“Heavy fighting broke out on the outskirts of Rafah shortly after the UN and US-brokered “humanitarian ceasefire” went into effect, after a group of terrorists allegedly emerged from a tunnel and began opening heavy fire at IDF forces stationed there.

At least one report, this time from Walla! News, says that a suicide bomber detonated himself directly next to IDF forces before the fighting began, wounding several soldiers.

Intense clashes ensued; according to Palestinian media sources, thirty people were killed, at least eight terrorists among them – though the number is likely to be higher, as Palestinian sources regularly report terrorist deaths as civilians. Roughly 100 others were wounded, according to reports.”

The attack on Israelis is given little press as the world, and the U.S.  gang up on Israel.

Obama’s bullying of Netanyahu into engaging in the ceasefire led directly to the kidnapping of the soldier and the deaths of the two.

The only thing ceasefires do is give Hamas an opportunity to attack Israel with less resistance. Then when they do, the newspapers in the West report the Hamas propaganda which Hamas achieves on the death and destruction of the Palestinians, especially the children, and their homes.

When Barack Obama and John Kerry claim that Israel can defend itself, they are obviously not telling the truth. They want Israel to lie like sitting ducks as rocket after rocket is fired into Israel. Israel needs to “show restraint”, they repeatedly say.

The West, including and especially Barack Obama, are openly supporting Hamas.

The real problem for the world is that Israel is winning and the death toll and casualties mount among Palestinians as Hamas uses them as human shields.
