POOR LITTLE BUGGER

About 133 billion insects a month die in The Netherlands because of cars. A Dutch biologist, Arnold van Vliet decided to count how many insects are killed by cars. He enlisted the help of around 250 drivers and used squished insect-counters to determine the number of dead bugs on windshields, license plates and bumpers. This certainly supports Michael Moore’s view that all cars must go, unless of course you are sane and disregard this study. It’s such an important story that it was carried by Reuters or maybe it was a slow news day. Read here: Insect Murder – egads
