CBS News is covering for Hillary Clinton and her email scandal.
They reported that Hillary Clinton is putting up a strong defense, and this is it:
Clinton said the Republicans will say the email controversy is about Benghazi, but she said, “It’s not. It’s about politics.”
“I won’t get down in the mud with them,” Clinton said. “I won’t play politics with national security or dishonor the memory of those who we lost. I won’t pretend that this is anything other than what it is: the same old partisan games we’ve seen so many times before.”
Last week she blamed Judicial Watch, the government watchdog agency that pursued her emails with FOIA requests.
CBS News stated that of the four emails, one of the emails was already in the public domain and another was about a secret program that was well-known by everyone.
They didn’t mention the fact that it was unlawful for her to store her emails on a personal server and that it was equally unlawful for her to destroy 33,000 of them. Nor did they mention the other two emails.
CBS radio quoted officials (the old anonymous, elusive “officials”) who say she may have had some classified material but it wasn’t the sophisticated stuff and it’s pretty widely known.
Yeah, especially now that it’s been on her server! As I recall that didn’t help Scooter Libby in the Valerie Plame case.
It was only this past week that the inspector general informed Congress Clinton had “top secret” information – the highest classification of government intelligence – in her account.
The data may have come from a program that includes some of the most secure information in the intelligence agencies’ computer systems.
Legal eagle Mark Levin explains:
Two emails should have been classified as Top Secret. The markings had been removed.
The New York Times reported that F.B.I. agents investigating Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private email server are seeking to determine who at the State Department passed highly classified information from secure networks to Mrs. Clinton’s personal account.
You notice the FBI doesn’t investigate people when Hillary is involved, they investigate the machine.
State Department employees apparently circulated the emails on unclassified systems in 2009 and 2011, and some were ultimately forwarded to Mrs. Clinton, the Times reported.
The FBI is also trying to find out if foreign powers hacked her server. Hillary’s IT techs have admitted they do not have security clearance. Her lawyer didn’t either and he had the thumb drive with 30,000 of her emails.
The State Department announced they are not interested in knowing what is on Hillary’s server and will not pursue that avenue. What do they care?
Hillary said no one is asking about the emails at her Town Halls which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. Her corruption is a non-issue for her followers.
Meanwhile, it’s all a big joke for Hillary and nothing more than partisan politics.
“You may have seen that I recently launched a Snapchat account,” she said. “I love it. I love it. Those messages disappear all by themselves.”
