Check Out the Latest: Expediting Unvetted Syrian Refugees

Democrats are intent on bringing in hundreds of thousands of refugees without screening them. Last year, they were responsible for changing the law to allow refugees in who had some limited terror ties. Now they are planning ways to bring them here without screenings.

A new letter went out Monday from 27 Democratic senators demanding more Syrian refugees and more funding to help them abroad and to help resettle them here. Among those were two Connecticut Senators, Chris Murphy and Richard Blumenthal.

There are currently 18 states looking to take in refugees, especially Syrian refugees, despite the fact that they can’t be vetted. Chief among them is Connecticut and the movement is being spearheaded by one of the Senate’s most Progressive members, Senator Richard Blumenthal.

Blumenthal called for bringing Syrian refugees here in large numbers on Monday with even less screening than they’ve had. If he is successful, the other states will follow and this is a situation that needs to be watched.

We know from the FBI and other intelligence agencies that we cannot properly screen them. The UN has been screening them and relying on them is a fool’s errand to begin with but Blumenthal wants to bring Syrians in, skipping even that step and others. He also wants to set up chain migration.

Blumenthal

Standing alongside Syrian activist and one Syrian family member, he presented a four-point plan Monday.

First, he called for the expansion of the Priority 3 (P3) program which was disbanded for years because it is known to be rife with fraud. It allows refugees with relatives in the U.S. to apply directly to the U.S. government and the US is 100% unable to screen them when they come from failed states, not only Syria.

What was found with P3 is that the people pretended to be relatives and an endless stream would slip through.

Originally revealed by the Wall Street Journal in 2008, the US State Department learned that thousands of Somali refugees had entered the US by lying on their applications about family relationships.  The so-called P-3 program was suspended for years as a result!  None of the fraudulent entrants were ever deported.

Second, Blumenthal wants to end repeat security checks that expire while refugees are still being processed. He wants to expand the validity period and EXPEDITE checks.

Third, instead of in-person interviews, he wants videoconferencing interviews. That would be an obvious source of fraud. We know now that they lie.

Lastly, instead of waiting for all members of a family to be cleared, he wants notifications sent if one member is holding up the rest and he wants all other family members to be allowed to come without waiting for the other member. The problem is that if one is held up, there is a reason and before we take in the entire family, they all need to be cleared.

There are supposed to be consultations with the communities where they will be resettled but the taxpaying public is prohibited from attending and if elected officials are hostile, they aren’t invited.  Often, they don’t even hold the required quarterly meetings.  Read more here…

Mr. Matthew Emrich. Associate Director, Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate. United States Citizenship and Immigration Services gave an embarrassing interview in a House hearing last week.

Sessions asked if Emrich’s department had access to even a single database in Syria that could provide solid background records on refugees in order to confirm a refugee is who he says he is.

“Can you name a single computer database outside of maybe some of our own very small but valuable intelligence databases for Syria that you can check against. Does Syria have any?” Sessions asked.

“The government does not, no sir,” Emrich answered.

Donald Trump had an interesting thought. What is it’s part of the conspiracy? Go to 04:54 on the mark. It could be a Trojan Horse.

ISIS has promised to infiltrate the refugees so it’s not far-fetched.

The UN reported that 72% of the refugees are men and only half are Syrians. Many are economic migrants and some are jihadists.

  1. We should not allow the Syrians refugees in our country without proper detailed investigation. They reported 72% are men and half are Syrians; normally refugees in majority are women and children. This doest look like refugees but trouble for America. And then the tax payer citizens are not allowed in any town hall meetings, that’s rediculous. What about the Christians that are persecuted in Syria and Middle East by the thousands, why not them, or the women there facing similar persecutions.
