After two weeks of creating a no-fly zone around the Bundy ranch, establishing free speech zones, and carrying out martial law as they steal and kill cattle, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) might be pulling out.

Update: 04/11/14: 20:00: Darin Bushman, a Piute County, Utah, commissioner spoke to Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins “I was just told by commissioner Collins of Clark County NV that all of us folks from Utah are a bunch of ‘inbred bastards’ and if we are coming to Clark County NV to support Cliven Bundy we all ‘better have funeral plans'”. We should “turn our asses around on mind our own f-ing business.
“I’m trying to do everything I can to discourage anybody who tells me they’re coming here with loaded guns,” Collins said. “I’m going to tell them not to come,” adding, “The Bundys want peace, they don’t want any violence going on so all these gun-packing folks just need to go home.”
Update: 04/11/14: The government has shut down the area around Cliven Bundy’s ranch. Only Satellite Uplink works. Militia and masses of people are arriving at the ranch. On Monday, representatives from Utah and Arizona will join the Bundys. The government wants the land and they want control. It seems they will do anything to make it happen. It’s Obamaland.
TV personalities are claiming that Bundy violated the law by not paying his grazing fees and that is the problem. Bundy, in fact, tried to pay the fees but the feds wanted to limit his rights and he refused to accept that. They also wanted him to reduce the size of his herd to a number that wouldn’t even sustain his ranch. Bundy also tried to give the money to Nevada since the land is owned by Nevada.
All of the other 51 ranchers have been driven out of Clark County. He is the last man standing.
Bob Beckel was on The Five today saying that the federal government has owned the land forever. First of all, the federal government doesn’t own the land, Nevada does, and, even if they did, who is the federal government? It’s we the people. Let’s have a popular vote and see if the people will let him graze his animals.
They also said he was odd. He isn’t. He’s a farmer, not the usual person people in NY are used to seeing. They have no idea what that part of the country is like.
Original Story: The range war on the Bundy ranch might be about to end with militia not yet in sight. An army of federal agents, literally an army, with military style weapons have surrounded the Cliven Bundy ranch as they remove the “trespass cattle” from the disputed territory.
Cliven Bundy is or was the last rancher left in Clark County, Nevada. The government is essentially taking over all the land in Nevada. If they don’t own it, they control it, at least 81% of it. Some people say the real reason it is being done is because of the minerals in the earth in the region. Others say it’s for oil or to build solar fields. One thing not mentioned yet are the marijuana fields nearby. The government claims the fracas is over a tortoise.
In the Bundy case, the family has run cattle on that same range since 1877 and they used to have fifty-two neighboring ranchers who did the same. Now, using the Desert Tortoise as a weapon, the federal government has run all the other ranchers in Clark County, Nevada out of business. Cliven Bundy is literally the last man standing.
The agents are equipped for a war.
“They’re carrying the same things a soldier would,” Cliven Bundy told the Free Beacon. “Automatic weapons, sniper rifles, top communication, top surveillance equipment, lots of vehicles. It’s heavy soldier type equipment.”
Carol Bundy, Cliven’s wife, said hundreds of armed BLM and FBI agents are set up around their property, as helicopters circle the area, and nearby roads remain off limits.
“We’re surrounded,” Carol Bundy said. “We’re estimating that there are over 200 armed BLM, FBI. We’ve got surveillance cameras at our house, they’re probably listening to me talk to you right now.”
“The battle’s been going on for 20 years,” Cliven Bundy said. “What’s happened the last two weeks, the United States government, the bureaus are getting this army together and they’re going to get their job done and they’re going to prove two things. They’re going to prove they can do it, and they’re gonna prove that they have unlimited power, and that they control the policing power over this public land. That’s what they’re trying to prove.”
Regardless of what you believe and whose side you take, you should want to cry over the government’s reaction to unarmed citizens. They sent an army after a family of ranchers over a legal dispute. They are stealing their cattle and it is believed some have been killed. Mothers have been separated front their calves. The government is enforcing martial law, closing down the area so no one can take pictures. They’ve established free speech zones far away from the ranch.
You should be outraged!
The government claims it’s over the desert tortoise – tortoises which the environmentalists are planning to euthanize. Worse yet, this is land that was made into the habitat for the tortoise because Harry Reid didn’t want his friend’s ranch affected. He had the habitat moved for his friend. I’m sure there isn’t one of these tortoises on his friend’s ranch, right? An investigative reporter needs to investigate that.
Is this America? Is this the government you want? A government that can come down with an army on a family over a grazing dispute? What do you think they would do if it were a serious matter? The government is so big that it is no longer afraid of the people – a very dangerous situation for the citizens.
Will the response only be words, no action?
