the barbarians are at the gate, they’re inside the gate and they’re in our administration.

China’s Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Co Ltd confirmed on Wednesday it had made an offer for U.S. crane maker Terex Corp. One congressman seems to care and that is Rep. Duncan Hunter.

Zoomlion is owned by the Chinese Communist government that provides military equipment to The Peoples’ Liberation Army and Terex makes military equipment for the US and allies.

GM’s Terex Division created notable heavy construction equipment, including the world’s first off-road hauler (1Z Trac-Truk), the world’s first twin-powered dozer (TC-12) and the world’s largest truck, the Terex 33-19 “Titan,” produced in the 1970s.

Teres didn’t solicit the offer and Zoomlion is offering nearly double its worth.

Rep. Duncan Hunter (R., Calif.) wrote to Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew urging for scrutiny over

“While it is my understanding that Terex and Zoomlion have yet to finalize the terms of a deal, the fact that a leading [People’s Liberation Army] supplier is seeking to purchase an American company that provides critical infrastructure equipment to a number of government agencies, including the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security, demands that the agreement undergo through scrutiny if it does materialize,” Rep. Hunter said.

This follows many other purchases by China of US property, mines, US oil fields, chicken companies and land, small Chinese government enclaves in the US. Who could forget the uranium deal arranged by Bill and Hillary Clinton which sold 20% of US uranium to the Russian government that now potentially has nearly half of America’s projected uranium.

Why is Duncan Hunter the only congressman writing the letter?
