Weasel, Mikey Weinstein

The Fort Riley prayer breakfast is off after Christian Ret. Lt. Gen. William ‘Jerry’ Boykin was disinvited to give a speech after Mikey Weinstein complained. Hello, it’s a prayer breakfast!

It’s not a slew of reputable groups complaining as the mainstream media is reporting. It’s Mikey Weinstein and his fellow radicals.

The breakfast was scheduled for Monday but was postponed when Mikey Weinstein, an anti-Christian hater by most accounts and head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, sent multiple emails to 1st ID commander Maj. Gen. Wayne Grigsby on behalf of his advocacy group, demanding the leader “immediately withdraw” Boykin’s invitation.

The reasons he mentioned were: The general compared the global war on terrorism to a holy war against Satan; he had confidence in an engagement with enemy forces led by a Somali warlord because “I knew my God was bigger than his”; and after he retired he claimed Islam is “not just a religion, it’s a totalitarian way of life” and should not receive protection under the First Amendment.

Last I heard we had freedom of speech and diverse ideas were welcomed. Apparently not if you are a Christian who holds those beliefs.

Lt. Gen. Boykin took to Facebook on Thursday to demand that Maj. Gen. Wayne Grigsby, commanding general of 1st Infantry Division, apologize to soldiers at the Kansas installation for postponing the breakfast, which had been set for Monday as part of the unit’s “Victory Week” celebration, the Army Times reported.

“Capitulating to secularist groups to stop soldiers from hearing Christian voices and views does a disservice to the men and women who serve our country,” Boykin wrote in his post.

General Boykin addressed it on Fox:

Mikey Weinstein is — all by himself — making the military cower. He’s a weasel according to Bill O’Reilly. His views are far-left on every issue, especially the Second Amendment.

He always claims many military are complaining when he lodges a complaint but they’re always anonymous.

He’s very, very radical.

Weinstein is a lawyer, and his fellows include lawyers, so anyone who doesn’t capitulate gets sued and the costs fall on the victims who aren’t lawyers.
