CNN host Anderson Cooper apologized for a “crude” remark directed at President Trump supporter Jeffrey Lord during his show on Friday.
During the debate on AC360 with Jeffrey Lord, a CNN commentator, Anderson referenced Trump allegedly calling James Comey a “nut job”. Anderson felt Trump’s comment was the result of Comey adding pressure on the Russia investigation.
Anderson grew frustrated because Lord supported Trump. That’s when Cooper said, “If he took a dump on his desk, you would defend it. I don’t know what he would do that you would not defend.”
The partisan TV host then tried to cover up his comment by telling Lord he was a “loyal guy” which speaks well of him.

He didn’t bother to apologize for referring to the President in such a gross manner. One thing is certain, the left has cornered the market on vulgarity.

I regret the crude sentence i spoke earlier tonight and followed it up by apologizing on air. It was unprofessional. I am genuinely sorry.
