Photo of Arne Duncan, Secretary of Education. He is trying to do for the nation what he did for Chicago.
I have two new Arne Duncan-Common Core horrors for this week and you won’t believe them.
Moms Against Duncan (MAD), which is becoming a prominent Facebook page and serves as a pushback to Arne Duncan, brought a Common Core aligned book, Barack Obama, to the attention of the public. What a book it is.
Fourth grade students in Bluffview Elementary, Dupo, Illinois were told to read the book, Barack Obama. What makes this book so special is that it actually teaches these young children that people don’t like Barack Obama because of the color of his skin.
The children were to be tested on it to boot.
The audaciously propagandized book indicates that Obama pushed race to bring us all together when he is actually dividing us along racial lines.
In case you can’t see the picture below of a page from the book with whatever electronic device you are using, the page says in part:
‘But some people said Americans weren’t ready for that much change. Sure Barack was a nice fellow. But white voters would never vote for a black president. Other angry voices were raised. Barack’s former pastor called the country a failure. God would damn the United States for mistreating its black citizens, he said.’
It continues along those lines.
Aside from the fact that they are quoting an extreme anti-white preacher – Rev. Wright – they are giving these children the impression that whites are bigots. Who are the other angry voices? The Tea Party no doubt though there is no evidence they are racists.
Barack Obama won election twice with an overwhelming majority and he won because of whites, not because of the 13% of blacks in the nation.
You can find information about this doctored biography on this link. The book is pure propaganda, citing alleged facts without anything to back them up.
The book is part of Scholastic’s ‘Reading Counts’ and it is typical Arne Duncan trash. Read more about this at the Illinois Review.
Another person on the site posted a piece for EAG News and you need to know about that too.
Danette Clark wrote: ‘Pearson Education, an official partner in the development of resources and tests for the Common Core State Standards, recently released a video series to share their ‘vision for the future of learning’.
Do you know what their vision is? It is to continuously monitor teachers and children and then tell the teachers how to teach. There have already been repercussions for teachers who didn’t do as they were told.
Publishers are going to intrude on every classroom in this country if we let them.
Pearson supports the UN and the UN, a Marxist organization consisting mostly of socialists and communists, is no friend of ours. Pearson-controlled students participate in ‘global learning’ activities resembling Model UN lesson activities, which are part of the ‘global common core agenda.’
What more could we want? UN-sponsored lessons that are part of the global common core, fabulous.
One Long Island parent checked her child’s homework to find the assignment below. Her daughter is learning about the UN Bill of Rights, not the US Bill of Rights.
Not only does Pearson spy on teachers, attempting to control their learning styles ala Big Brother, they are intruding on the privacy of students and controlling what they learn and how they learn it.
Pearson is even collecting data on childrens’ after-school activities. Click on this link to learn more, it’s information you need to know.
Go to Facebook and read the posts on MAD, Moms Against Duncan. You won’t regret it.
