‘We have the power to begin the world over again.’
Those are the words of Thomas Paine. As we see our country changing from the free nation it was designed to be, will we have the courage and the willpower to begin the world all over again?
He that would make his own liberty secure, must guard even his enemy from oppression; for if he violates this duty, he establishes a precedent that will reach to himself. ~ Thomas Paine

How much evidence do we need before we act? Let none other be heard among us than those of a good citizen, an open and resolute friend and a virtuous supporter of the RIGHTS OF MANKIND and of THE FREE AND INDEPENDENT STATES OF AMERICA.
Perhaps the following sentiments will not attract widespread appeal at this time. The longer we accept abuse of our political system, the more it appears to be acceptable. TIME MAKES MORE CONVERTS THAN REASON.
An extensive abuse of power gives cause to call it into question. As the elites in Washington unite under a one party system and as the people are oppressed by this monolithic system, the oppressed have the unequivocal right to call it into question and reject the usurpation by them.
The cause of America is in great measure the cause of all Mankind. Circumstances have and will arise which are universal and the principles will affect all lovers of mankind. Declaring war against the natural rights of all Mankind and extirpating their Defenders is the concern of every Man regardless of Class.
OF THE ORIGIN AND DESIGN OF GOVERNMENT
Society and government have become intertwined over time. They are as different as their origins. Society is produced by our wants and government by our misdeeds. The former promotes happiness by uniting and encouraging discourse as patron while the latter restrains our vices and is a punisher. SOCIETY IS A BLESSING AND GOVERNMENT, AT BEST, IS A NECESSARY EVIL; in the worst state an intolerable one.
Misery BY A GOVERNMENT is what we might expect WITHOUT GOVERNMENT and we furnish the means by which we suffer.
GOVERNMENT IS THE BADGE OF LOST INNOCENCE because if the impulses of man were always good and if the impulses of conscience were clear, uniform and irresistibly obeyed, man would need no other lawgiver, but that is not the case, and man finds it necessary to surrender up part of his property to furnish means for the protection of the rest.
Since security (and thus freedom) is the true design and end of government, it follows that what most likely ensures it to us, with the least expense and greatest benefit is preferable to all.
Government is a vehicle rendered necessary by the inability of moral virtue to govern the world; THE DESIGN AND END OF GOVERNMENT IS FREEDOM and security.
HOW DO WASHINGTON ELITES COME BY POWER THAT THE PEOPLE ARE AFRAID TO TRUST AND ARE ALWAYS OBLIGED TO CHECK? The Congress and Executive Branch working as one body are no longer a system of checks and balances but operate felo de se.
Thomas Paine spoke of King George III but is it very different now? We have abandoned the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution for a ‘living Constitution’ and a one party top-down government.
IT IS WHOLLY TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE PEOPLE, AND NOT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE GOVERNMENT THAT WE ARE FREE.
OF MONARCHY AND HEREDITARY SUCCESSION
MANKIND being originally equals in the order of creation, the equality can only be destroyed by some subsequent circumstance. A circumstance which creates distinct power groups is just such a circumstance.
One such distinction for which no reason can be assigned is the distinction of men into KINGS and SUBJECTS, i.e. Washington elites and the people, who are subjected to the unauthorized demands of the elites. The exalting of this group of men greatly above the rest cannot be justified on the equal rights of nature, no neither can it be defended.
WE HAVE REPLACED HEREDITARY SUCCESSION WITH UNLIMITED TERMS FOR MEMBERS OF CONGRESS WHO ARE CONTINUALLY VOTED IN MORE A RESULT OF ACCUMULATED POWER THAN ACTUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT; this same power leads to an insatiable desire for re-election and more power; it leaves no place for new and original thinkers in these roles. Over time, the world they act in differs so materially from the world at large, that they have little opportunity to know its true interests. They lose sight of the will of the people and legislate in seclusion among themselves.
The President and Congress now act as one (without regard for the minority party) and these elites suppress dissent by the people, leaving the majority of Americans without a voice. THERE IS NO FREEDOM OR SECURITY WHEN THE PEOPLE ARE NOT ALLOWED A VOICE.
Oppression is the consequence of separating people into elites and subjects. Of more worth is one honest man to society than all the crowned ruffians that ever lived.
Our own leaders divide us to conquer us along racial, class and political lines. ~ Thomas Paine
THOUGHTS OF THE PRESENT STATE OF AMERICAN AFFAIRS
THE ANCESTORS OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE (AND MOST OF TODAY’S LEGAL IMMIGRANTS) FLED, NOT FROM THE TENDER EMBRACES OF THE MOTHER, BUT FROM THE CRUELTY OF THE MONSTER… and it is so far true that the same tyranny which drove the first emigrants from home pursues their descendants still in the form of its own government.
It is no longer the English government that is to be feared as in 1776, it is our own.
AS PARENTS, WE CAN HAVE NO JOY, KNOWING THAT THIS GOVERNMENT IS NOT SUFFICIENTLY LASTING TO ENSURE ANY THING WILL BE BEQUEATHED TO POSTERITY, AS WE ARE RUNNING FUTURE GENERATIONS INTO DEBT.
Our economic freedom is being frittered away into unsustainable deficits, no less despicable because it is filled with payoffs, kickbacks, special interests, and redistributive entitlements.
We watch the corruption and allow it to continue despite the fact that we are giving away what rightfully belongs to our children and their children; theft is our legacy.
We should take our children in hand, look into our future and see the prospect, which fear and propaganda conceal from our sight.
It is repugnant to think, that in the universal order of things, from all examples of the former ages, to suppose that our individual countrymen and women can become and remain subjugated to our own government.
The will of the American people has been rejected with disdain. We re effectually embracing bondage to our own government.
THE SUN NEVER SHINES ON A CAUSE OF GREATER WORTH. It is not the concern of a day, a year, or an age; posterity are virtually involved in the contest and will be more or less affected, even to the end of time, by the proceedings now. Now is the seed time of the union, faith and honor. The interests of the elites are not of the people, but their own. We unite under this top-down rule of law or we call to virtual arms against the tyranny of single rule whose interest is not concern for the people.
OUR OWN LEADERS DIVIDE US TO CONQUER US ALONG RACIAL, CLASS AND POLITICAL LINES. We must not let the divisions fester and grow deeper before they become irreconcilable. This is a call to war – waged peacefully. The plan for peace will be representation more equal and subject to the peoples’ will. A government of our own and the upholding of the Constitution is our natural right.
CALL FOR A PEACEFUL REVOLUTION
I ask you, has the government announced that they will make laws as they please and without compromise? Are Americans so ignorant as to not know and is there any man sounds as to not see that this administration will suffer no law but suits its own purpose? Will we be enslaved by the laws of our own country?
CALL FOR A PEACEFUL REVOLUTION
Whoever forsakes individual liberty is opening a door to eternal tyranny by sacrificing individual freedoms to Washington elites who sell a false sense of security and replace individual morality with bureaucrats who decide what is right and what is wrong; who deserve what and how much; what you will buy or won’t; what you can earn or not; IN SUCH A SYSTEM, INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY AND ACHIEVEMENT BECOME DEVALUED BY SELF-PROPAGAITNG ENTITLEMENTS, WHICH THRIVE ON THE DEMONIZATION OF PRODUCERS AND THE PRAISE OF NON-PRODUCERS, doled out without the peoples’ permission by the absolute power of Washington elites.
Thomas Sowell, economist and essayist, said, ‘The assumption that spending more of the taxpayer’s money will make things better has survived all kinds of evidence that it has made things worse. The black family – which survived slavery, discrimination, poverty, wars, and depressions – began to come apart as the federal government moved in with its well-financed programs to ‘help.’
YOU WHO LOVE MANKIND! YOU THAT DARE OPPSE, NOT ONLY THE TYRANNY, BUT THE TYRANT, STAND WITH US. IT IS NOT IN NUMBERS BUT IN UNITY THAT OUR GREAT STRENGTH LAYS. COMMON SENSE WILL TELL US , THAT THE POWER WHICH SUBDUES US IS, OF ALL OTHERS, THE MOST IMPROPER TO DEFEND US.
CALL FOR A PEACEFUL REVOLUTION
The Washington elites decide what is right for free enterprise as they destroy the very concept; they seek control of all waterways in the country; they will cap and tax our energy so only the elite will have access to it, meting it out for reward and punishment; they now decide every dimension of our healthcare at taxpayer expense while exempting themselves from that very healthcare; they hope to deprive employees of the ‘secret ballot’ using the deceptive oxymoron, ‘free choice.’
The elites are in the process of nationalizing banks, education, the energy sector, the media, companies, housing, et al.
These same elites show disregard for US sovereignty, parental rights, states rights, the Constitution.
The Washington elites added and will continue to add taxes without representation; taxes that can be increased on a whim, without the peoples’ permission and for the ‘common good,’ while the biased, sycophantic media bows and scrapes at the feet of these idolized thugs.
AND I ASK YOU HOW CAN LEGISLATIONS FOR THE ‘COMMON GOOD’ BE OF VALUE TO ANY ONE IF, TO SUCCEED, THE LAWS MUST TRAMPLE THE RIGHTS OF THE INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE THE COMMON PEOPLE?
INCOME REDISTRIBUTED WITHOUT THE PERMISSION OF THE EARNER IS THEFT. The elites put the stamp of morality on totalitarianism by falsely portraying their opponents as uncaring while they themselves care nothing of the individual they enslave to government hand-outs. Is amnesty about caring or is it about seizing the American vote and usurping the rights of those who would come here illegally?
Socialism is a failed economic model and it is not American. It is the path to Communism. Far left secular progressivism is the statism for today; it is a far worse threat that we face with its hag’s heart and pretty face. The Washington elites are not liberals; they do not espouse freedom unless it is empowered by them alone while they have the audacity to finance it on the backs of the hard working American.
We now have to ask ourselves, not what is best of the ‘common good’ but WHO will decide what is best of the INDIVIDUAL! Does is it really take a village or independent individuals? We have the power and the will to take our country back. The power they have is what we give them. Should we wait until there is no turning back?
WE HAVE THE POWER TO BEGIN THE WORLD OVER AGAIN.
CALL FOR A PEACEFUL REVOLUTION
OF THE PRESENT ABILITY OF AMERICA
NO ONE SHOULD EVER DOUBT THE COMMITMENT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL FREEDOMS guaranteed to us by nature and expressed by the sacred bond of the Constitution which can be amended but never ‘living’ which would leave it pliable to the whims of the elites.
We began government at the right end but now revert to a government in which the power of the people lies in the hands of the Washington elites.
Thomas Paine called for a Continental Charter, the precursor to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. A charter is to be understood as a bond of solemn obligation, which the whole enters into, to support eh right of every separate part, whether of religion, personal freedom, or property…the necessity of a large and equal representation; there is no political matter which more deserves our attention. A small number of electors, or a small number of representatives, are equally dangerous. But if the number of the representatives be not only small, but unequal, the danger is increased. Our Constitution is the sacred bond. Do we see this bond broken as one political party aligns with the President in transforming America? Thomas Paine was committed to the rights of the individual and warned about the danger of concentrating great power in the hands of a select group of elites.
We can fight this by a call for a CONVENTION OF THE STATES to fight individual intrusions on our liberty.
Currently, the ‘common good’ is being defined by the elites who regard individuals as insignificant except as they perform in the collective and they are without rights if it interferes with the collective and the will of the elite. In their system, rights are secretively redefined by the elites and wealth is furtively redistributed without permission of those who have earned it. Who can forget the closed door meetings where the fate of 1/6th of our economy was decided?
IF NOT NOW, WHEN? Until an independence is declared, the continent will fell itself like a man who continues putting off some unpleasant business from day-to-day, yet knows it must be done, hates to set about it, wishes it over, and is continually haunted with the thoughts of its necessity.
THE PRESENT STATE OF AMERICA IS TRULY ALARMING TO EVERY MAN WHO IS CAPABLE OF REFLECTION. Our present condition is legislation without law, wisdom without a plan; a Constitution without a name; and, what is strangely astonishing, real independence contending with an alluring state of dependence for a false sense of security.
And if something is not done in time, it will be too late to do anything, and we shall fall into a state, in which, neither reconciliation nor independence will be practicable.
INDEPENDENCE IS THE ONLY BOND THAT CAN TIE AND KEEP US TOGETHER. Is is our delaying it that encourages Washington to encroach on our individual liberties and our backwardness tends only to prolong the inevitable. They have not listened to the people and continue with their agenda. In the spirit of a great American, Martin Luther King Jr., join our non-violent revolution to defeat the elites who efface individual liberties because they believe they know best as does the master to his dog.
Lead, follow or get out of the way. ~ Thomas Paine
