Cross Dressing For Presidential Success: The Case For Caitlyn Jenner as The Republican Nominee

Back in 1992, delegates to the Republican Convention in Houston laughed and cheered when Patrick Buchanan, onetime challenger to RINO loser Bob Dole for the Presidential nomination, ridiculed the Democratic Convention held earlier in New York City the month before. He called the Democrat delegates far left-wing radicals who were “dressed up as moderates and centrists in the greatest single exhibition of cross-dressing in American political history.”

Liberals were outraged at Buchanan’s “homophobic” comments and the NY Times went on to note that his speech…

“…was, in any case, a thoughtless and reckless swipe at the largest group of cross-dressers in the United States: women. The number of American men who prefer drag to denim are a mere handful compared with the number of American women who get up in the morning determined to dress like John Denver… Pat Buchanan’s reckless gibe perpetuates that perception. It may also make the typical American woman wonder, as she puts on shirt, jeans and sneakers, if he understands his own wisecrack.”

Establishment RINO Republicans joined in the hand-wringing with President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush looking on with horror at Pitchfork Pat’s lack of patrician manners.

My, how things have changed!

Today, it is MEN who are in the forefront of the Transsexual Movement, led by a man who, despite his genital… challenge… has openly declared himself a woman: the former Olympic Athlete and current Reality TV show star, Caitlyn Jenner (aka Bruce Jenner.)

Even more surprising is that Jenner is a self-described REPUBLICAN!!!

Of course, RINOs rolled out the Country Club welcome mat. Interviewed on CNN, Senator Lindsey Graham acknowledged Jenner’s right to the female pronoun when he said “I haven’t walked in her shoes. I don’t have all the answers to the mysteries of life. I can only imagine the torment that Bruce Jenner went through. I hope she has found peace… I’m a pro-life, traditional marriage kind of guy. But I’m running to be president of the United States. If Caitlyn Jenner wants to be a Republican, she is welcome in my party…”

And why not?

After all, RINOs like Graham have been dishonestly cross-dressing as conservatives for decades, so why shouldn’t an honest one like Jenner be welcomed in?

Are his pretensions to being female any worse than Mitch McConnell or John Boehner or Bob Dole or Mitt Romney or Jeb! Bush and Family or John Kasich or Paul Ryno or Karl Rove or any of the other posers who are all hell bent to once again “lead” the GOP off a cliff in a presidential election by pretending to be “conservatives?”

Why should Jenner’s views on LGBT rights be viewed as any more radical than Jeb!’s devotion to unlimited immigration or McConnell and Ryno’s transparent betrayal of the Conservative Base to the Democrat MINORITY in Congress on issues ranging from the budget to planned parenthood, to the Iran nuclear deal to Benghazi to Obamacare?

Jenner is at least as compassionate when it comes to being sensitive to the LGBT community as St. John Kasich is to the poor and who is constantly hectoring Republican voters that he is not only more moral than they are, but intimates that he is also a better Christian since, like the Pope, he loves to castigate Capitalism for its hard-hearted shortcomings.

As far as being inclusive, Jenner’s called for the Republican congressional leadership to support LGBT issues. Jenner said in an interview with ABC’s Diane Sawyer that he would do it “In a heartbeat, why not? …I think they’d be very receptive to it.” After all, he said, neither Democrats nor Republicans have a monopoly on “understanding.”

I think that position stands up very well in terms of compassionate Liberal Republicanism compared to Jeb!’s desire to flood the country with hordes of Third World invaders and put them on the public dole!

Of course, by simply going public with his trans-sexuality, Jenner proves he is FAR more honest and has FAR more courage than Mitch, Mitt, Karl, Chris, Jeb! and St. John, who wear their “conservative” costume far worse than Jenner wore his White Satin “Merry Widow” dress on the cover of Vanity Fair.

So… while the Republicans are debilitating themselves with their internecine ideological warfare, why not consider nominating a RINO candidate capable of not only reaching across the aisle, but also into the Ladies Locker Room?

Hey, Democrats took 76% of the LGBT vote in 2012; having Jenner on board indicates that with him as the new face of the Republican Party, they will improve their chances to penetrate that voting bloc.

In fact, Gregory Angelo, the National Executive Director of the Gay “Log Cabin Republicans” said that “One of the more interesting and exciting things about Caitlyn Jenner is that potential she has to bridge these two worlds of entertainment and politics… Jenner is now a part of the 2016 narrative whether she wants to be or not… I am letting Caitlyn Jenner’s agent know I would be more than happy to take her to Capitol Hill and introduce her to prominent Republicans”

Better yet, Kyle Kondik, of the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics, indicates that Jenner may be exactly what the Republicans have lacked: a RINO who can be a seminal figure like the revered Ronald Reagan was to the Conservatives, who’ll lead them to the Presidential Promised Land.

Kondik says “Republicans are always looking for celebrities to promote their party. Famous people in the entertainment industry are generally liberal Democrats, so those who are not can win a special place in the GOP—Ronald Reagan being the most famous example…”

So forget about the overly-ambitious Rubio, the somnambulant Jeb!, the bullying Christie and the holier-than-thou Kasich.

Establishment Republicans have ALWAYS had a place in their heart for political cross-dressers and, as all the Constitutional Conservatives whose principles RINOs have routinely traduced know, have been running them for president FOR DECADES.

It’s time for the Liberal RINO Establishment to realize that their own ideological confusion is far more dishonest… and dangerous… than any gender bending by a brave, open and honest transsexual like Caitlyn Jenner.

Politics should be based on principle, not sexual orientation; I would rather see the RINOs try to nominate a man who openly and honestly considers him/herself to be woman than see them once again burdening the Party with another RINO loser dishonestly dressing up as a Conservative.
