Dead Birds Only Matter When Oil Kills Them

The only difference is the bird killed by oil can be used to demonize oil companies and the bird killed by windmills represents so-called environmental progress.

It’s okay for birds to die as long as windmills do it. Remember when the Valdez oil spill occurred and you couldn’t turn on the TV without seeing a dead bird or a bird covered in oil with volunteers cleaning them to little avail?

I guess birds only matter if oil is the cause. Supposedly they are doing things to reduce the number of bird deaths. What are they going to do? Not let the blades rotate? I’m not against windmills. I’m against the hypocrisy.
