DNC Chair Candidate Sally Boynton-Brown told the public during the candidates’ forum in January, “I’m a white woman, I don’t get it, my job is to listen and be a voice and shut other white people down when they want to interrupt.”
Boynton-Brown said her comments were taken out of context by the alt-right. She was talking about inclusivity.
Poor victim.
We had it all wrong when we first posted her comments. We though she said her “job is the shut white people down” but her job is actually to “she white people down” if they say they’re not racist.

She was quoted here and elsewhere as saying her job is to shut other white people down but we were in error. She has since clarified that her job is to shut other white people down in her party if they say they’re not prejudiced [see second video clip].
After all, all whites are bigots.
As a side note, she also wants to talk about rural America but what do Democrats have to offer to rural America? Gender fluid bathrooms, taxes and regulations do nothing to win over the farmers, construction workers, store owners.

Speaking about supposed prejudice in her own party, Brown went on to directly say that she believes her job is to get further training in order to shut white people up.
“It makes me sad that we’re even having that conversation and that tells me that white leaders in our party have failed,” Brown said.

Brown continued, “We pull people in and they are volunteers. They don’t know anything and we send them out to have conversations with people, hard conversations. We promote them to chair of a party where they have power and they have no clue what they are doing. We have to at the DNC provide training. We have to teach them how to communicate. How to be sensitive and how to shut their mouths if they are white. So I think I made my point.”
