DOJ Official Can’t Say If They Will Criminalize Free Speech Aimed at a Particular Religion

Rep. Trent Franks

Appearing before congress, a DOJ official was repeatedly asked by Rep. Trent Franks if the DOJ will ever entertain or advance criminalizing speech against any religion.

The DOJ official, Tom Perez, would not answer directly and made it clear that he believes the answer could only be made relative to the circumstances.

This is in line with the Progressive Constitution in which all rights and privileges of U.S. citizens become secondary to the relative situation. Progressives believe that we do not have God given unalienable rights, but rather, relative rights determined by government.
