Keith Ellison’s Deceitful Response About One of His Hateful Associations

Keith Ellison wants to be the Chair of the Democratic National Committee and, shockingly, he likely will be elected to the post. His affiliations, both past and present, are abominable but Democrats have little to no interest in questioning him about them.

He recently appeared on a show where he could discuss his background as a follower of Louis Farrakhan as if it were something it’s not. Farrakhan is an anti-white, anti-Semitic, anti-police hater.

On Joy Ann Reid’s show, he didn’t answer questions, he deflected in a very dishonest way which was helped by his conniving interviewer. Reid tried to equate being a follower of Farrakhan to a march as it that was all that was involved.

Reid began by saying, “And I want to…one of the other issues that people who are your detractors try to use against you is the fact that you were a supporter of Farrakhan and, nothing negative, the million man march is a pretty positive thing. How do you answer those who throw that at you.”

Ellison pulled out some names to distract from the question and then claimed it’s only a diversion aimed at defeating his candidacy.

“Who is God in my political thinking, I say, well, A Philip Randolph, …Ruston, and Martin Luther King and I say Paul Wellstone, Hubert Humphrey,” Ellison said. “I say, Nellie Johnson, a black woman who help found the Democrat and Farm Labor party [communist] in Minnesota…” He continued, “Asking me about the gentleman you mentioned doesn’t do anything to help people understand where I’m coming from. So, at the end of the day, it’s distraction, it’s diversion and just a way to try to defeat my candidacy.”

Reid said the questions about his past are meant to divide him from Jews in his party.

“Also a way to divide you with Jewish Democrats, right?”, Ms. Reid asked.

He said, “The Democratic Party enjoys 71% from the Jewish community…absolutely need it.” Ellison continued, “It’s fundamental and important to our success. We value and prize our Jewish support from the Democratic Party. And we know Republicans don’t like it and they’re going to try to wedge it. But what I say is let’s hang together. We have more in common and we’re going to stick together.”

He never answered a question about his affiliation, because he can’t. Joy Ann Reid is very dishonest and was only there to make it seem as if his affiliation with Farrakhan was nothing to be concerned about. She completely ignored his radical Islamic ties.

Are Republicans responsible for his rather awful past and is no one allowed to question him about it?

Listen to the audio.

Keith Ellison won’t talk about his shady…

Keith Ellison has a very radical past. He not only received financial support from terror-tied groups, he was once a firm supporter and employee of hate-monger Louis Farrakhan. Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam is a hate group according to the Southern Poverty Center.

His views about Israel are also to the left of the Democrat Party’s platform. The NY Times had an interview set up with him recently when he suddenly backed out after learning he would be asked about his past affiliations with anti-Semite, anti-white Louis Farrakhan.

Aides to Mr. Ellison were going to make him available for a telephone interview, but then declined when informed that he would be asked about his past comments on Mr. Farrakhan. They emailed a list of his links to the Jewish community and a statement that said, “Democrats need an organizer who will energize the grass-roots across this country to build the party from the bottom up.”

Ellison claims he is opposed to Farrakhan and has supported Israel at other times so why won’t he explain his past employment and affiliation? He was an adult when he supported Farrakhan.

Ellison, a Muslim, is tied to radical Islamists. During a 2008 trip to Saudi Arabia, Rep. Keith Ellison (D., Minn.) met with a radical Muslim cleric who endorsed killing U.S. soldiers. He also met with the president of a bank used to pay the families of Palestinian suicide bombers, the Washington Free Beacon reported. Those are the meetings we found out about.

The Washington Free Beacon published information about Keith Ellison’s secret trip to Mecca though it was first reported back in 2009. The trip cost $13,500 but the Muslim American Society paid for it.

Ellison repeatedly defends CAIR, saying it is “a legally operating organization” that would have been shut down had it done anything wrong. He fails to mention that the FBI severed formal relations with CAIR in about 2007, due to questions about its founders’ ties to the Hamas-support network known as the Palestine Committee.

Federal prosecutors said in a 2008 court filing that the group “was founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” A House Ethics Committee investigation later concluded that the trip had to be disclosed as a gift to a public official but Ellison didn’t disclose it for obvious reasons.

In court papers, prosecutors wrote that CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) was “a participant in an ongoing and ultimately unlawful conspiracy to support a designated terrorist organization, a conspiracy from which CAIR never withdrew.”

CAIR is a mouthpiece for the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas.

Ellison has attended and spoken at radical Islamic conferences. He has written articles that are blatantly racist. The representative from Minnesota is a believer in reparations. He’s everything the Democrats should be against but the party has changed. It is a radical Socialist party that has succumbed to its hard-left base.
