EPA Violates the Law, Ignores Congress, Seizes Private Land in Wyoming

In an act of utter lawlessness, the EPA has seized the entire town of Riverton, Wyoming from its 10,000 inhabitants and turned it over to the Native-Americans who have been demanding the land back.

Riverton

Riverton, Wyoming is now part of the Wind River Indian Reservation according to a government agency in what is an extraordinary breach of authority.

The residents are no longer living in the United States and will likely have their land taken from them by the Indians since the Indians now control the deeds. The residents of Riverton will lose many of their rights as citizens if they stay on the newly-formed extension of the reservation. They can leave their land behind or fight.

What happened to states rights?

Legislation passed in 1905 already decided these borders and, in what is an outrageous land grab, the EPA has decided it is above the law.

Holder is the top law officer in the land and continually violates the law. He ignores Congress and doesn’t think the courts are necessary either obviously.

Wyoming’s Governor, Matt Mead, is threatening to refuse to recognize the EPA’s authority. Mead said in a statement:

“My deep concern is about an administrative agency of the federal government altering a state’s boundary and going against over 100 years of history and law. This should be a concern to all citizens because, if the EPA can unilaterally take land away from a state, where will it stop?”

Why so wishy-washy Mead? Why is he not raising the rafters?

Wyoming’s delegation to Congress sent a letter to the EPA demanding the decision be reversed.

A million acres are involved.  Is the EPA now able to take our land away? Like Marxists? Riverton residents today but who will it be tomorrow?

Sen. Leland Christensen responded in a public statement:

“This is an alarming action when you have a federal agency step in and start to undo congressional acts that has [sic] really been our history for 108 years … with the stroke of a pen without talking to the biggest groups impacted, and that would be the city of Riverton and the state of Wyoming.”

The EPA refuses to comment on their decision.

Obama is using agencies like the EPA to orchestrate a complete government takeover of private land, the energy sector and intrude on every American’s life with regulations.

Only two days ago, Eric Holder unilaterally superseded state law and states rights by overturning Utah’s law on same-sex marriage.

No matter how sympathetic the cause, Holder is not the Emperor and this is ruthless and lawless behavior.

All those who live in a small village or town that is proud of their Indian heritage should be very afraid. Let us not forget Van Jones and his infamous “give them the wealth rant”

This ought to wake up those who think Obama is just a “liberal Democrat.” He is a hard core communist revolutionary. Our country, our freedom, our property, and our lives are threatened as long as he is allowed to pursue his agenda.
