Eric Holder, Top Cop, Advocate for Terrorists and Racial Injustice

Where to begin with Eric Holder, consummate liar and far-left radical. We might as well start with Fast & Furious.

Our government, under the auspices of Eric Holder’s DOJ, ran with a program called Fast & Furious. The idea behind Fast & Furious was to track guns sold to illegal straw purchasers. Out of 2500 guns sold, only two recording devices were on any of the guns. It was not a very serious tracking program.

Holder blamed rogue agents at the local level for the program though it turned out senior level officials in DC were responsible. Holder denied he knew about the program though he had memos and e-mails ten months earlier which talked about it directly.

We were told that the disciplinary action the DOJ took resulted in the retirement of people held responsible. That was the alleged punishment.

Holder does not acknowledge that terrorists or war criminals are to be treated differently from ordinary lawbreakers.

Holder wanted to bring the 9/11 terrorists back to New York. He wanted to treat terrorist Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM) and his accomplices like common criminals. It would have been a show trial. Due process would have forced the US to turn over sensitive information under discovery. Expect Holder to try it again after he wears down the resistance.

Holder now wants to have a federal “monitor” appointed to watch the every move of the NYPD despite the fact that they are one of the most effective police forces in the country under Commissioner Ray Kelly.

Holder dislikes the NYPD’s effective “stop and frisk” policy because some of the people being stopped are minority gangs and suspicious Muslims. It is not about what the people are doing, it’s about who the people are.

In the case of reporter James Rosen, Holder said James Rosen was a co-conspirator and a flight risk. Holder’s explanation about this obvious deceit was the he [Holder] had to lie to get the order. He had to tell the court Rosen was a suspect so the court would give him the order to keep the warrant secret. Holder said he never planned to prosecute Rosen. However the order is only given if the subject of the order is considered a co-conspirator.

In the case of the AP records grab, Holder said he had recused himself and knew nothing about it. Unsurprisingly, he could not produce one piece of evidence that he had recused himself.

Holder is not different than he was when he worked as Bill Clinton’s Deputy Attorney General in the 1990’s.

A Puerto Rican Marxist-Leninist group known as FALN operated from the mid-70’s to the mid-80’s pretending they were supporting Puerto Rican independence. They robbed banks, set off bombs, injured people including police, and were responsible for six deaths across the country.

Many were sent to prison and at the sentencing they threatened to kill the judge.

Clinton commuted the sentences of 16 members of the FALN in 1999. The FALN terrorists had the gall to not accept the clemency at first. They accepted the clemency when they were assured they would not be required to give up information. Eric Holder was the one who pushed for those pardons.

Holder later said he didn’t know the FALN terrorists engaged in violence or threatened the judge though this was common knowledge at the time. Holder used the same “I know nothing” tactic he always uses. [Don’t forget we have a president who pretended he didn’t know Bill Ayers was a domestic terrorist. He said he was just a guy in the neighborhood – just a guy who gave him his political start.]

Then there is the Chiquita Banana case. If it sounds innocuous, it’s not.

From 1997 to 2004, Chiquita Banana gave $1.7 million to a Columbian terrorist group known as the AUC (United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia). Similar payments were also made to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and to the National Liberation Army (ELN) from 1989 to 1997. All three are on the US State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations. [Wiki]

Outside attorneys for Chiquita notified the company that the payments violated U.S. anti-terrorism laws and should be stopped immediately. They did not stop. They continued until they sold the subsidiary to Banadex in June 2004.

The US Justice Department brought charges against Chiquita Brands International in what was a landmark case. It was one of the biggest terrorism cases in US history with casualties numbering three times that of the World Trade Center.

Chiquita Banana had given active support to terrorists though they falsely claimed it was protection money. Evidence showed that Chiquita was using AUC as a security force. They were importing machine guns and ammunition through their private port.

Chiquita admitted their wrongdoing to the DOJ. They hired the influential and former Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder to bail them out. He was in private practice at the time.

Chiquita pled guilty to one count of engaging in transactions with a terrorist organization. Chiquita only had to pay $25 million and no one at Chiquita had to serve jail time.

The court order mentions Robert Fisher, Steven G. Wars, Carl H. Linder, Durk Jaguer, Jeffrey Benjamin, Morten Amtzen, Roderick Hills (former committee director of Chiquita), Cyrus F. Freidheim (former general director and most recently president and CEO of a large media group), and Robert Olson, former legal counsel. All of them knew about the illegal operation and the transfer of $1.7 million dollars to the AUC.

Eric Holder doesn’t want to talk about the racial divide, he wants to divide us further by accusing opponents of being racists.

Now to go back to a more recent case. that of the extremely radical New Black Panthers. Even the Black Panthers won’t acknowledge them.

Eric Holder allowed the New Black Panthers to threaten voters, hurling racial slurs at them, in Philadelphia November 2008 and escape justice.

Holder dismissed the case against them because he claimed the facts and the law didn’t support a case even though there were eyewitnesses and video evidence.

Holder wants to give a pass to certain people because of who they are not what they do. As Mr. Adams said in the video posted here, Holder defended them because there is a hostility within the Justice Department, particularly in the Civil Rights Division under Tom Perez.

Tom Perez is our nominee for Labor Secretary and he was recently approved by the Senate. He is one more Obama appointee rewarded for doing Obama’s bidding.

The DOJ administration doesn’t want to prosecute minorities no matter how guilty they are. An Inspector General’s report supports this. The report said that the Civil Rights Division was overly polarized and in disarray while under Tom Perez [an open borders advocate]. The full scathing report is here.

Eric Holder sued Arizona for attempting to enforce immigration law. The language of the law was taken from the federal law.

Eric Holder is a liar and he is lawless. He believes in redistributive justice and social engineering. He is a radical who is politicizing the Department of Justice and violating the laws of the land.

His purpose is to further a statist agenda. It is a way for this administration to exercise power and control. President Obama won’t fire him. Holder is doing exactly what Obama wants.
