Evelyn Farkus, Defense Department Leaker, Is Employed by Big Hillary Donor

Evelyn Farkas, Obama’s former Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense, admitted there was a massive wiretap, widespread surveillance of the Trump campaign though she appeared unaware of what she was admitting. She said they – the administration – knew of contacts with Russia and wanted to get the information out and that is why it was leaked [that’s a felony – actually several felonies]. She made her admissions on MSNBC during an interview with Mika Brzezinski.

Farkus encouraged Obama staffers to gather as much information as possible on Trump team members and get it over to Capitol Hill and throughout the executive branch so that the intelligence wouldn’t be “hidden away in the bureaucracy”. She seems to think leaking intel is okay if it means the Trump administration would not be able to “compromise those sources and methods.”

The former low-on-the-totem-pole official was referring to “sources” and “methods” of spying on Americans without warrants.

After Ms. Farkas left her post, she immediately went to work for a Hillary Clinton-tied organization. She is a nonresident senior fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Future Europe Initiative, an anti-Russia think tank run by a Ukraine billionaire.

That is an interesting connection. The senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, Dmitri Alperovitch, is the CEO of Anti-Russia CrowdStrike, the first firm to tie Russia to the DNC hacking. The firm has also been in the news for fraudulent reporting on another Russia hacking story.

Counterpunch did the reporting based on information garnered from Buzzfeed FOIA requests:

CrowdStrike’s bias has been cited as undependable in its own assessment, in addition to its skeptical methods and conclusions. The firm’s CTO and co-founder, Dmitri Alperovitch, is a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council, a think tank with openly anti-Russian sentiments that is funded by Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk, who also happened to donate at least $10 million to the Clinton Foundation.

In 2013, the Atlantic Council awarded Hillary Clinton it’s Distinguished International Leadership Award. In 2014, the Atlantic Council hosted one of several events with former Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who took over after pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych was ousted in early 2014, who now lives in exile in Russia.

This interview with Farkus, where she cops to spying and leaking as great techniques, was earlier in March and no one mentioned it. In fact, the MSNBC host seemed uncomfortable and didn’t have her elaborate. No one in the media is talking about it. It might well be the smoking gun as Mark Levin called it.
