This latest information about Hillary Clinton and her lies about the Benghazi video to different world leaders should alarm everyone. The fact that this has been concealed by the State Department is of grave concern.
Judicial Watch today reports that phone transcripts between Clinton and foreign leaders show once again that she and the administration were fully aware that the deadly terrorist attack that killed four Americans was coordinated in advance and that the story about a video was a lie.
Previously unreleased phone transcripts revealed that Hillary Clinton informed then-Egyptian Prime Minister Hisham Kandil that the deadly terrorist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi “had nothing to do with the film.”
The sequence of events:
At 10:08 p.m. on September 11, Mrs. Clinton issued an official State Department press statement, approved by the White House, placing the blame for the attack on an Internet video:
Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.
The next day, in her 7:49 PM September 12 conversation with Kandil, Clinton said, “We know the attack in Libya had nothing to do with the film. It was a planned attack – not a protest.” Kandil responded, “You’re not kidding. Based on the information we saw today we believe that group that claimed responsibility for this is affiliated with al-Qaeda.”
Everyone knows she continually lied about the video after that. Clinton told different stories to different foreign leaders and the State Department covered it up.
Don’t forget that she lied to the victims’ families after the men of Benghazi lost their lives and she made certain the videographer went to prison for a year.
Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch discusses Hillary’s lies and the fact that this was kept from the public by our government for years.
There is something else interesting in the Judicial Watch article about the release of documents:
In a September 12 call with the Afghan President Hamid Kharzi, Clinton says at some point they need to talk about “about religious feelings and insults and defamation.” Islamists seeks to criminalize criticism (“defamation”) of Islam. The Obama administration worked closely with advocates for restrictions on free speech as part of their Benghazi video pr campaign.
She has suggested in the past that she would limit our free speech and pass hate speech laws.
House Resolution 569 was introduced by the Democrats last year and its self-described purpose is “condemning violence, bigotry, and hateful rhetoric towards Muslims in the United States.”
Hillary Clinton has suggested she will push for this or some similar type of hate speech law if she is president. She has also indicated that will push for the UN resolution 16/18 criminalizing criticisms of Islam.
Resolution 16/18 was the topic of discussion with Hillary Clinton and OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu in December 2011. Both she and Barack Obama have been receptive to adopting some version of this definition.
We could end up like Germany. Merkel just gave the okay to prosecute a German satirist/comedian for crudely satirizing Turkey’s statist president Tayyip Erdogan.
