Everyone Pays For Every Overpaid Long Island School Superintendent

Caorle Hankin, We will all pay for her salary

Carole Hankin, Syosset Schools Superintendent, received a 4.7 percent salary increase, bringing her salary to $405,244. With annuities and other benefits, her total compensation comes to $541,454.

This isn’t solely a Syosset issue because when she retires, you and I and everyone else who pays taxes in New York will be paying for this excessive salary. The Superintendent’s job does not merit this kind of money having seen the job up close and personal, no matter how many grants she gets or how many events she attends, no matter how much she can charm a community.
