“Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” starring Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock is about a family that loses a member in the terrorist attacks of 9/11. I’m sure they have a sad, sympathetic story to tell, but it’s the beginning of endless 9/11 movies as Hollywood commercializes an event that should NOT be commercialized. Who knows what Hollywood will come up with next.
We are still under the threat that took the lives of almost 3,000 people on 9/11. It happened only a little over ten years ago. This is a terrorist attack that should never be a subject for Hollywood. I don’t care how nice a story this one is. I know where they are going with it.
