The very bizarre story of Pakistani computer techs breaching congressional computers continues to grow ever more bizarre but the mainstream media generally refuses to report it, though Politico has. You can read about it on our link or at the Daily Caller which has reported on it exclusively for months.
According to the report:
FBI agents seized smashed computer hard drives from the home of Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s information technology (IT) administrator, according to two sources with knowledge of the investigation, according to an exclusive by The Daily Caller News Foundation.
An additional source in Congress with direct knowledge of the case, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the probe, confirmed that the FBI has joined what Politico previously described as a Capitol Police criminal probe into “serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network” by Imran and three of his relatives, who had access to the emails and files of the more than two dozen House Democrats who employed them on a part-time basis.
Capitol Police have also seized computer equipment tied to the Florida lawmaker.
Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and her aides didn’t use BleachBit, but they must have borrowed Hillary’s aides’ hammers. People don’t usually do that unless they are obstructing justice. Schultz even threatened the police chief for not returning her computers.
The techs appear to be part of a massive security breach
The IT techs are being looked at for theft as well as security breaches. Democratic congressmen, including Debbie Wasserman Schultz, might have hired potential spies.
Imran Awan, one of the IT specialists who was responsible for the breach, has reportedly fled the country and is said to be under government protection.
