Federal Judge: DHS Conspires with Drug Cartels to Break Immigration Law

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.

The federal government is encouraging people here illegally to smuggle their children across the border by delivering them to the parents after drug cartels bring them across the border.

Drug cartels that deal in human trafficking are transporting children to their illegal immigrant parents for a fee but often deliver them into the sex and human slavery trade instead. DHS is turning a blind eye to it and is sometimes handling the exchange between the cartels and the parents.

This is who our government is cooperating with as all parties concerned break immigration law. This is the same administration that, thanks to Reid exercising the nuclear option, can now put whomever they want on the US District Courts without any interference from the opposition party. Courts have traditionally stood between an all-powerful government and the people but whether that continues to be the case remains to be seen.

A federal judge, Andrew Hanen, harshly condemned what is apparently DHS policy.

Chris Crane, union president for law enforcement, confirmed the federal judge’s claim that the Department of Homeland Security is delivering children across the border to illegal immigrant parents. Crane said all they do now is babysit the children being smuggled across the border.

“This is exactly what’s happening,” Chris Crane, head of the National ICE Council, told FoxNews.com.

U.S. District Judge Andrew S. Hanen called the policy ‘dangerous’ and said it is aiding human traffickers, particularly the drug cartels which run many of these operations. In the order, the judge said that it is ‘quite concerned with the apparent policy of the Department of Homeland Security (hereinafter “DHS”) of completing the criminal mission of individuals who are violating the border security of the United States.’

In one case before the court, DHS did not even prosecute the smuggler. DHS participated in the criminal conspiracy. There were four similar cases in as many weeks.

Taxpayers are paying for these transfers and for the cost of the guardian accompanying the child instead of apprehending the parent and deporting the parent who could be reunited with his/her child in that way.

The judge said that “DHS is rewarding criminal conduct instead of enforcing the current laws. More troubling, the DHS is encouraging parents to seriously jeopardize the safety of their children. Some children have been made to swim across the Rio Grande. Some children drowned, some are missing, and one 3-year old was abandoned.

These illegal activities, the judge wrote, finance the drug cartels. The cartels ‘take advantage of children and subject them to violence, extortion, forced labor, sexual assault, or prostitution.’

The judge ended with ‘The DHS should enforce the laws of the United States – not break them’

This case is the Fast and Furious of human trafficking.

DHS told Fox News that it is following the law but they are in fact breaking immigration law. They also know that cartels such as the Zetas have been operating in the United States for years. This goes beyond incompetence into pure evil.
