Former VA Governor Bob McDonnell Found Guilty of Corruption


Former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell and his wife have been found guilty of multiple counts in their corruption trial, with the former Governor guilty of 11 of 13 counts, Maureen McDonnell found guilty of 9 out of 13 counts.

The former Virginia Governor was visibly distressed with his face in his hands.



In exchange for promoting a product, McDonnell took $160,000 in loans, jets, trips, a $20,000 shopping spree for Maureen, a trip to Cape Cod for the couple, a dinner for two for Bob McDonnell, yard work, and so on.

He will go to prison for a long time.

The sentencing is January 6.
