The OWS are promoting themselves, and Obama, on Long Island. They have a professional website, Yes we can LI. When they are not tweeting, they are on Facebook quoting Gandhi. Make no mistake, this is Obama’s community organizing style of campaigning. Don’t think for a minute that there isn’t a great deal of money and organization behind the pawns they draw out with their propaganda.
Here is one of their Facebook lures, inviting the Long Island masses to Zucotti Park on Wednesday. You can’t make this stuff up. The fringe people are comparing themselves to Gandhi so as to attract the misguided, non-fringe people. They are acting as if we are all enslaved, while they are actually hoping to enslave us : –
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” — Gandhi
|Eighty years ago Gandhi and a small group of followers unknowingly began a nationwide boycott of a salt tax. The group grew larger as their march progressed to the sea, ultimately numbering in the thousands. They remained through the night. In the morning Gandhi broke the law by picking up a piece of sea salt from the beach.A nationwide endeavor followed with thousands of people trekking to the shore to gather salt which was then sold throughout India. The energy emerging from this protest, in today’s vernacular, went viral. Peaceful picketing sprung up across the country. The police responded with mass arrests.Protests grew with Gandhi’s arrest.Ultimately, an agreement was reached. Gandhi was freed, protesters were released, and salt production was permitted.Peaceful protest had changed the world without a shot being fired.Today many Indians wear tee-shirts bearing the words, Be the change you want to see in the world’At Zuccotti Park and countless places around the world, local and global Occupy Wall Streetcivic actions dominate the news. While protesters are growing in number they are being challenged by those who feel most threatened. But peaceful protest knows no bounds. Let’s be part of history in the making. Be the change you want to see in the world.
Then there is this:-
According to the blaze, Shepherd Fairey, the Hope poster artist for Obama, painted up this invite to the Occupation Party on the 15th. I guess Rev. Al was right when he called it the occupation. He had advance notice of the new name variation for the OWS. Doesn’t “occupation” sound rather commie and doesn’t this picture look a lot like Black Panther commie, Angela Davis as the blaze pointed out? It is drawn in the Soviet style. Maybe it’s a mere coincidence as one of my twitter pals joked.
The occupiers in LA are not to be outdone. Citizen journalist Ringo captured one speaker promoting violence: –
Occupy L.A. Speaker: “One of the speakers said the solution is nonviolent movement. No, my friend. I’ll give you two examples: French Revolution, and Indian so-called Revolution.
For those who don’t know the history of the French Revolution, it was not about freedom. It was a violent Socialist movement orchestrated by sociopaths, unlike our Revolution, which was to free us from the tax-mad stranglehold of the British King.
The Blaze also highlighted the Boston rally for the Jihad terrorist, Terak Mehana, who was arrested on federal terrorism charges. The occupiers want to bring attention to his trial, which is exactly what a military trial would have avoided. Unfortunately, we have AG Eric Holder who is none too bright. We wouldn’t want the terrorists to miss an opportunity to get some propaganda now, would we?
In NY, we were so fortunate to have Francis Fox Piven leading a bizarro chant to the collective.
We have this hateful Jerk, with a capital “J,” singing F@#$ the USA
As I reported several times, based on my visits to Wall Street, Soros money is behind the rallies. From day 1, I have taped people talking about the movement being funded, in part, by Soros-funded, Daily Kos, and I have heard them plot setting up the police. Officer Bologna may or may not have pepper sprayed the annoying protester, but I don’t care, and neither should anyone who knows the purpose of these people. Read here: Daily Creepy Kos Sgt. Bologna was the fall guy. We need to stand behind our police and not let these people win.
It’s the Jews fault proclaim many in these protests. I had to listen to one fool on Wall Street rant about how people call him an anti-semite, but he’s Jewish, and he’s no anti-semite, but Wall Street is run by corrupt Jewish bankers. There are plenty of Christian and Atheist bankers which gives lie to his statement to say nothing of the fact that blaming an entire race of people for a problem is blatant bigotry.
Here’s an LA bigot:-
Is Obama, along with his collective dimwits, willing to use violence if his peaceful takeover cannot be implemented? Obama ignored the election, which put a Republican House in place to stop his agenda. He continued with the agenda through regulations and Executive Orders, encouraged thuggish and threatening union bosses and starry-eyed Marxists from Wall Street to LA. Will Obama win at all costs?
