U.S. second-quarter growth has been revised upward to the fastest pace in two years according to a Bloomberg report. The gain is attributed to business investment and stronger household spending. Donald Trump’s pro-business presidency should also be credited but the media won’t do that.

The gross domestic product rose at a 3% annualized rate from the prior quarter of 2.7%. Consumer spending grew 3.3%, up from 2.8%. Corporate pretax earnings rose 7%, up 1.3%.

President Donald Trump has set an ambitious 3.0 percent growth target for 2017, to be achieved through a mix of tax cuts, deregulation and infrastructure spending. It has set a tone.

President Trump gave a great speech on tax reform this week. We need to level the playing field for our businesses and support our middle class. But it’s hard to imagine the anti-Trump Congress passing anything.

Trump also wants a work requirement for able-bodied welfare recipients but it’s doubtful the elite want to get people off the dole.

A poll put out by Fox News claims 56% of Americans think President Trump is tearing the country apart. It’s hard to believe. The media and the politicians are doing that with non-stop attacks on the President. Another 70% say Trump hates the media more than white supremacists. Why did Fox even ask that last question?

Trump has eliminated regulations, promoted Capitalism, and canceled out the wealth redistribution, high tax policies of the prior administration.

No one could sustain the constant abuse that Trump has had to sustain. They want to be sure the public never again votes for a non-establishment candidate.

He never gets credit, only attacks. Don’t give up on him. He was the peoples’ choice. If 3% were so easy to attain, Barack Obama would have done it.
