Google Bans Ads for Pregnancy Centers After Pro-Abortionist Group Demands It

In response to pressure from the pro-abortion group, NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League), Google has banned ads from pro-life pregnancy centers that offer women and their unborn children abortion alternatives.

Laughingly, NARAL is concerned about the pressure that might be placed on women to keep their babies. It is common knowledge that subtle and not-so-subtle pressure is put on mothers to NOT keep their babies from pro-abortion groups.

This started over pro-lifers using the ad words, “abortion clinics,” which led to complaints and banning.

From the Washington Post:

Google policy states that advertisements must be “factually supportable,” as well as truthful and accurate. Advertisers who do not comply with Google policies may see their ads rejected or their domains disabled or accounts suspended.

Google said in a statement that it had applied its ad policy standards in this case and followed normal company procedures.

“We’re constantly reviewing ads to ensure they comply with our AdWords policies, which include strict guidelines related to ad relevance, clarity, and accuracy,” the company said in a statement. “If we find violations, we’ll take the appropriate actions — including account disablings and blacklists — as quickly as possible.”

NARAL is going after other search engines.

NARAL bragged:

Google’s leadership in removing the majority of these ads is a victory for truth in advertising. Countless women will be spared lies and shaming tactics intended to stop them from making their own decisions based on real medical advice.

It won’t be long before CPCs and their supporters go after Google for making this change because deceptive ads are one of the primary ways they lure women into their doors. That’s why we’re organizing a thank-you letter to show Google executives they did the right thing and encourage them to stand strong against pressure from our opponents.

When Kermit Gosnell was murdering babies and at least one woman, NARAL blamed pro-lifers in their statement:  “Anti-choice politicians, and their unrelenting efforts to deny women access to safe and legal abortion care, will only drive more women to back-alley butchers like Kermit Gosnell.”

Gosnell was one of their approved abortionists. He hadn’t been supervised since 1983 because Planned Parenthood and NARAL fight any attempts to screen these clinics. The practitioners are free to do anything they want thanks to them, not thanks to pro-life politicians.

There was a time when pro-life and pro-abortion were given equal treatment, now the genocide of babies gets preference and it says so much about the type of country we have become.
