Government Climate Change Report Precedes Obama’s Fiats to Destroy the Energy Sector

Icicles, must be the result of global warming

Our propaganda-oriented government published a climate change report May 6 titled The National Climate Assessment based on – literally – no scientific fact. John Holdren, Obama’s science czar, said the 800-page report is “extraordinary” and it is  “the loudest alarm bell to date” on the need for climate change action.

The report used every natural event to claim climate change aka global warming aka climate disruption is occurring.

In addition to suffocating the US economy with regulations, the goal is to destroy the coal industry, shut down as much of natural gas and oil as possible, and to pass a treaty with the communist-socialist UN. The treaty would require us to pay developing countries for our alleged greed and avarice until we are all poor and miserable.

What the report lacks in substance, it makes up for with Tallulujah Bankhead drama – very hysterical in other words.

The report was devised by many famous scientists from Harvard and other prestigious universities. They all agree that we are doomed unless Mr. Obama acts immediately to slow the rise of the oceans and heal our planet.

Remember Obama’s nomination victory speech: “I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth.”

Here he is, pretending he’s humble:

How is that working out for you so far? Do you still believe him?

There’s little fact in the report, but if an Ivy League scientist says it’s true, you are supposed to accept it as fact.

Mr. Obama, according to his consigliere John Podesta, is about to unleash the power of his pen and phone dictatorship on the energy sector in the name of a science based solely on predictions, predictions which have not panned out in the last four decades.

hot

Must be climate disruption. Just look, it’s quite disruptive.

If numbers were the way to judge the value of this government propaganda report on climate disruption, then the report would be stellar. They have 300 scientists on a 60-nation Federal Advisory Committee to assure us these assessments are accurate.

It’s really quite easy to come up with 300 fools to say what you want. Just look at our government! If it’s only about numbers, how come Nazi Germany was so wrong – how come so many were so wrong?

Don’t be fooled by the numbers.

rain

Look, rain! Never saw this before, it must be climate change

Instead of facts, they put out predictions and tell us to swallow them whole without scientific evidence.

For example, they tell us in the report to fear droughts and a future dwindling water supply for the following reason: “Short-term (seasonal or shorter) droughts are expected to intensify in most U.S. regions. Longer-term droughts are expected to intensify in large areas of the Southwest, southern Great Plains, and Southeast.”

These aren’t facts, they’re predictions! We are supposed to lower our standard of living and put our nation’s security in danger based on predictions!

Their predictions have not come true so far. If they had, the seas would have risen, and the north polar ice cap would have melted by 2013.

Here is another claim from the report: ” Increasing Impacts on Agriculture – Climate disruptions to agricultural production have increased in the past 40 years and are projected to increase over the next 25 years. By mid-century and beyond, these impacts will be increasingly negative on most crops and livestock.”

That’s not a scientific fact, it’s a statement!

The entire report reads like this. They use computer models that predict what will happen 25 years out. In other words, it’s far enough in the future that they don’t have to prove anything.

Instead of calling it The National Climate Assessment, they should call it National Climate Fortune Tellers Assessment. Even if they are right, we have reduced carbon emissions but Russia, China and India are adding coal-fired plants every week. All we are doing is shifting coal energy to other countries in a suicide mission for our country and for what? Who really believes the United States can change the weather?

The science is unstable, the climate is unpredictable, and we do not have long-range data on which to base predictions.

Jay Carney recently blamed the weather for the administration’s economic failures. It doesn’t get much more ridiculous than that.

Before the faux global warming science, there was the Coming Ice Age of 1978:

That was based on no scientific fact also.
