war on women

This is the real war on women.

The Washington Examiner reported that in Brazil, people believe women who dress in revealing clothes deserve to be raped.

The poll of 3,810 people by Brazil’s Institute of Applied Economic Research and which included more than 66% women, found that 65% of respondents believe that “women who wear clothing that shows off the body” deserve to be raped.

The President, Dilma Rousseff, tweeted that the poll results show that “Brazilian society still has a long way to go to fight violence against women.”

We criticize the Muslims who force their women to wear burqas but how is this any better?

We spend a ridiculous amount of time in this country talking about a nonexistent war on women which is ostensibly waged by Republicans but is actually just a Democratic campaign gimmick. It takes away from the very real war on women in our society today.
