Helicopter Parents Want Every Child to Have A Trophy or An Easter Egg

The everyone gets an award generation has reached a new low. Aggressive parents have caused the cancellation of the Easter egg hunt in Colorado Springs.

In prior years, the parents jumped fences and tore through the field getting Easter eggs for their children. Last year’s hunt was over in seconds because of parents grabbing up the eggs for their children.

Kind of spoils the fun and spirit of the event.

The parents are referred to as “helicopter parents” – those who hover over their children and are involved in every aspect of their lives to make sure they don’t fail.
